Whilst staying on a family break in the village we decided to get a take-away for 6 of us. I went into the restaurant to place the order and was surprised with it's clean and airy decor.
Being used to having complimentary popadums with take-away curries I was a little surprised when the waiter tried to charge me for these. After a little negotiation though he saw my way of thinking and then changed his mind to "on the house". It was only after getting the food home though that I disappointedly found this didn't include any onion salad or sauce/chutney.
This was the only slight down side to the meal though as the rest of it was superb. The menu was quite extensive and unusually offered several fish dishes (salmon and white fish). The menu was quite descriptive and helped us choose some dishes we'd never even heard of.
Overall then I'd recommend this place for the wide ranging choice of dishes; the polite speedy service; the excellent quality of the food (I've never had so much tender lamb in one dish before!); and the reasonableness of the prices.
