We had a short stay here over Easter , it was a lovely clean B and B in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere , free to go as you come and please and very dog friendly.
Close enough for visiting places and short drive to a beach which are dog friendly.
Refreshment amenities in the room and plenty of choice on the breakfast menu.
Certainly would recommend.

Room Tip: Please note there is no pool or fitness centre ticked by mistake and won't take it off.... All...

Thank you for your review of your stay with us at Arden Cottage. We are very happy to read that you found us to be really dog friendly as we aim to look after everyone who comes to stay with us.

We enjoyed meeting you both as well as Archie, your dog. He was full of fun and enjoyed playing with Bertie the Retriever who was a Guest at the same time.

We look forward to meeting you again in the future.

We stayed at Arden Cottage for 3 nights in April 2014 and have had the most wonderful, relaxing stay. Jane and Paul are so welcoming and Paul makes an impressive breakfast feast! We brought along our dog who is currently very depressed to be home - he had the most wonderful time running around the lovely large garden and playing with other dogs and being so wonderfully looked after by Paul and Jane - he would happily have stayed on! Paul and Jane also showed us around the village, and recommended some lovely places to visit in this lovely part of England. Our room was really comfortable and the wisteria growing outside the window with the view onto the village so very beautiful. We slept incredibly well and couldn't have asked for more. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in a beautiful location, with a great night's sleep and somewhere you'll leave with very fond memories - then I can't recommend Arden Cottage highly enough!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely - we stayed in the double with the ensuite and were very comfortable. Lovely po...

Thank you for your very kind review of your stay at Arden Cottage. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and easy-going couple to look after, and Bertie, your 6 month old Retriever pup was a real joy to watch play in the garden, relax in the house, and make himself at home.

We're also pleased to read that our suggestions of places to see and do were welcomed, along with our breakfasts that set you up for your busy day ahead visiting places in Somerset.

We do our best to provide everything you may need in the bedrooms so it's good to read that our efforts are noticed and appreciated.

We wish you all the best for the future and hope to see you all again at Arden Cottage.

I booked Arden cottage for a number of my wedding guests in February of 2014, and am really glad we did. Paul and Jane were extremely accommodating well beyond the call of duty :) and looked after our guests like they were family. As we had international guests coming, it was a huge relief to know that they were staying with Paul and Jane, and would be well looked after. With all the flooding, some of our guests had to change transport plans at the last minute, and some arrived very late - a huge thank you again to Paul and Jane for being so accommodating. Also, the feedback on the rooms from all the guests was great. Would strongly recommend Arden cottage.

Hi there, thank you very much for taking the time to pop a review on Tripadvisor for us.

What a weekend we all - you had to overcome the awful storms and rain that Somerset had to fly here. However, you made it safely and were able to enjoy the wedding you were attending at St Audries Park.

We were pleased that you found us a 'welcome port in the storm' and appreciated the blazing fire and homemade cake on your arrival at 1pm in the morning.

We would love to welcome you again when we'd hope to be able to show you Somerset in the sunshine.

My partner and I stayed at Arden Cottage over a weekend to attend a friend's wedding. Arden Cottage is a beautiful, cosy, spotlessly clean and comfortable place to spend a night or two (or more if you're lucky enough!)

Jane and Paul were great hosts, friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful with booking taxis and giving directions. We arrived during gale force winds and were met by a lovely, bright homely house a big pot of tea and a slice of cake - delighful! Breakfast was delicious and very hearty set us up perfectly for our day of revelry and following that our day of recovery.

Recommend it in a heartbeat!

Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to write this lovely review.

You certainly had the most awful trip down weather wise, but it is good to hear that the welcome you received from us was just what you needed. Our aim is to make people feel at home when they arrive and you can't beat a cup of tea and home-made ginger cake!

It's good to read that you thought the breakfasts were hearty. We did enjoy looking after you and it's lovely to have the house full of people enjoying our hospitality, both before and after the wedding festivities.

We look forward to seeing you again in the future when Somerset is having a beautiful Summer.
