After a 3 to 4 hour drive from home, the roads started teasing us with views of the sea, we arrived at Watchet.
Driving through its narrow streets, and turning into Lorna Dorne was just like what was on the photos on Holiday Cottages website.
Opening the door it was amazing, there was no stale smoke smell, no smell of pets!
Walking into the kitchen there were 6 mugs ready on the kitchen side, biscuits and upon opening the fridge, a pint of milk!
If you have a baby or toddler, there is a high chair in the cupboard under the stairs, and cot available in a built in wardrobe upstairs, also bowls and plates for them as well.
The bedrooms are nicely decorated and well kitted out with Wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside lights and alarm clocks. There are electric sockets close to the bedside cabinets, so perfect for charging up your tech overnight!
Wi-Fi is a very good speed, I forgot to do a speed test, but it was perfect for my son who likes to watch YouTube and Netflix.
With friendly neighbours, quiet nights and sea air, it was a really nice break!
There are plenty of leaflets in the living room of things to do and see and places to eat.
If you like a curry, We recommend "The Spice Merchant" which is just down the hill from Pebble Walk.
Minehead is a short drive from Pebble Walk and has Amusement Arcades, gift shops and a nice family pub called "The Hairy Dog" which has the biggest outdoor play area we have ever seen in a pubs garden!
Dunster Castle and Gardens, and a working water mill is on the way to Minehead and is well worth a look!
We sent a text to the cleaner the night before we returned home to tell her we removed the highchair straps when we arrived as they were discoloured with baby foods, she replied hoping we had enjoyed our stay and wished us a safe journey home.
The day we were to leave the property, we hoovered around, wiped down kitchen sides, and placed our breakfast items in the dishwasher, switched and locked up the house.
Although we had a lovely stay at Pebble Walk, on our arrival back home, I sent a text message to the owner to thank them for a lovely stay, to which we received a miss forwarded text that the cleaner was meant to see and not us...
Had we not received the message in error we would have given the property 5 stars.
