We have a caravan on Doniford Bay and visit every few weeks. Each time we have to visit the farm. It's just so lovely. Our favourite is Mr. Snood..the wonderful turkey. What a character. The shop is lovely and the food in the restaurant is wonderful. The staff are very friendly, happy and helpfull. Sunday is usually very busy and bookings are recommended for lunch.
We always buy our eggs and cheeses from the farm. Delicious!

We live about 3 minutes away and knew Sunday was going to be hot and I wouldnt want to cook so went out for breakfast at Doniford Farm and had their special breakfast. We have had this a few times before and always have consistent excellent quality. Everything on the plate can be bought in the shop. Had brekkie at 10am and didnt eat again til 7pm. Teapots need careful handling though!! All animals looking happy and healthy...shame turkey has had to be penned in she's lovely. Probably be back this sunday as family visiting.

picked up a leaflet and decided to have a run out and try the café which was very good, homemade food that wasn't expensive, there are plenty of things to see a farm shop, and a nice gift shop with some more unusual gifts in, also all the animals and the exhibits from the bygone era,it was a really hot day and there was a pig fast asleep in the middle of a pool of water how I wish I had my camera with me, will certainly call again and next time will take my camera

We got off the steam train and walked up to the farm, very nice place excellent value tea shop, we have an Afternoon tea (in the morning) I couldn't eat it all, had to leave some cake to make room for the cream tea bit!!
The turkey is great, he looks a bit threatening but he just want to be touched and stroked, he is soooooooo lovely.
It was so good we returned by car later in the week for sunday lunch.
