This little gem is hidden at the back of a shopping centre in The sleepy market town of Somerton. It offers the most excellent Indian cuisine in the area. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes. My favourite is definitely the North Indian Garlic chilli chicken. It is a delicious taste sensation and is definitely recommended for those who like spicy food with layers of flavours!

The staff are friendly, and do not make you feel pressured into buying the added extras! Portion sizes are good without being over facing. Quality with adequate quantity. There is a high volume of customers coming in for takeaway orders which means you feel rather observed if you're eating in, but the staff are charming and highly attentive. A definite recommendation for the Spice Gallery.

Having just moved back to the area after some years away I was looking forward to using the Spice Gallery again. Memories of freshly spiced great food.

I ordered a fair array of dishes for a Friday night family takeaway. Not something we do often but when we do we like to do it properly.

What arrived was, in my view, extremely poor. Chilli calamari consisted of clearly pre-bought battered calamari rings - over-thick soggy batter - with a few slices of slightly out of date chilli. The chicken in one spicy dish had clearly only been introduced to the sauce about 5 seconds before dispatch. A rather expensive lamb dish was just a mush. There was no winner amongst the 6 main dishes that we ordered or amongst the sides. No clear distinct flavours at all.

Usually as a family, with a takeaway in front of us, there is nothing left. I am afraid, this time, there was quite a bit.

The consensus was that we would have done much better with a trawl of a supermarket ready meals aisle.

Hopefully we just caught them on a terribly poor night. Looking at other reviews perhaps we did. Inconsistency though is not a good thing in a restaurant………….

Down for the weekend for a fishing trip, decided to try this restaurant out having seen it in passing on our previous trip to Somerton last year and having read the reviews as well.
Didn't quite realise how small the restaurant is, but that is not a criticism in fact it feels quite homely.

The staff were attentive and the menu is quite comprehensive, although there are a couple of items that seem a little dubious. One that springs to mind is "Slay The Dragon" Aside from that we ordered dishes that were more familiar and we weren't disappointed. The portions were a good size and the food was nice and tasty.

Price was reasonable as well. All in all a good dining experience and we will return again.

We've been having take away on a Saturday evening now for years from here, and almost certainly have never been Unhappy. The food is fresh, the chicken is the best quality ever, and the tikka jalfrezi is the best I've ever tasted.
My baby daughter loves her chicken tikka starter and has done since she was 6m old!

I have had Indian all around the country and this is by far the best by miles.

Hats off to the chef.

Went here for a takeaway, the food was brilliant and it was ready when I arrived. We got the set meal for 2 which was great value. Will definitely be returning.
