Ryan's is a beautiful restaurant, with great people working there. Only problem is.........you can't eat the furnishings. Why they can't come up with something excellent I don't know. They have very little local competition and could easily own the discretionary dollars of Hamilton if they would just work on the quality and selection of the food. It is just average and very limited. So tired of driving to West Chester, Springdale, or Cincinnati to find quality.....there is too much money in Hamilton to let it drive out of town.

the food was awful, after I waited almost half an hour to have my order taken. I'll never eat here again.

Overall, Ryan's Tavern is a local version of Chili's with a nice bar. The staff are pleasant and well meaning. Expect a lot of fried foods -- it's a local pub. That said, the baked cod was reasonably priced and tasty - as was the asparagus and homemade potato chips. If you're looking for a restaurant that isn't a chain and don't want to drive too far outside Hamilton (we were staying at the Marriott in downtown Hamilton), Ryan's Tavern is convenient and nice enough.

Was here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The service is top notch. They have a great space for 100+ upstairs. We only had about 40, but was nice to be upstairs with our own bar and not mingling with the usual guests. The manager also showed us a separate room that would be PERFECT for a group of less than 20. It was very nicely appointed, but alas we had too many.

Drinks were mixed perfectly and the food was awesome. The fish and chips are by far my favorite.

Don't step past this place. Worth it...truly!

Ate early on a Saturday. Good choice of beers, especially the layered ones which we had never tried before. Had the fish and chips, very good and plenty of it. For appetizers we had the fried mushrooms and potato skins....very good. Good, friendly service. Nice restrooms too!
