The Apple loft is set in the beautiful grounds of Glen lodge a B and B.
We had a lovely week and we think we may have had the place to ourselves as we didn't see anyone in the Lodge at all the while we were there.
Apple lodge has a King size bedroom and a tiny single bedroom, there is also a sofa bed so could sleep 5 but there is not really enough storage space for more than a weekend for 5 people.
The Lodge is set at top of the valley and has lovely views from the bed room window, we had to watch our small dog carefully when the window was open as it is set low to the floor and she could have jumped up and fallen out of the window quite easily.
The bathroom is very modern and the shower wonderful after a days exploring and a bonus towels are included.
There are lots of lovely walks in and around Porlock and an abundance of dog friendly pubs and tearooms. The Royal Oak was amazingly friendly and we walked down some 20 mins each evening for a meal and a pint of Doombar (or 2).
It was even warm enough on a couple of occasions to sit on the deck outside.
We Highly recommend this accommodation, but just watch dogs and small children around the main bedroom window if it is open.
