We got a deal on living social and had only read good reviews on the BandB so we were looking forward to our stay.

We were greeted by John who even greeted us by name. you don't usually get this. He helped take our bags to our room and went through a few things.

our room was clean and well presented with all amenities you would need for a weekend away. The shower was lovely and the bed was very comfortable.

You order breakfast the night before and it is made to order and tasted great. frewh tea coffee and toast also came with it. They also had a wide selection of fruit, juices and cereal.

This was a lovely peaceful break in a quiet village with some beautiful views. it also had some lovely pubs to eat it.

John and Eileen are bery hospitable, kind and friendly and did everything they could to accomodate your needs. Highly recommended :)

My husband and I spent a very relaxing two nights here in February. We had a lovely top floor room with views over Porlock full of helpful extras like an emergency toiletry bag and a bowl o f sweets. We ate there the first night a deliciously hearty 3 course meal prepared by Elaine and served by John. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. John and Elaine made our break exceptional. Definitely recommend this B&B if you are wanting to stay in the area!

If you are looking for a base to explore Exmoor and the surrounding area Rose Bank Guest House is the ideal choice. John and Elaine are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the TV reception was perfect. There was a good choice of local ingredients for breakfast and it was served to perfection. The location is ideal with plenty of places to eat and drink within minutes (there is an excellent inn virtually next door). There is plenty to do and many places to visit with some of the most breathtaking views in England. All in all a great place to stay.
