“A little bit out of the way, but worth it.”

This premier dose wat it says on the tin. Warm friendly and a good bed.
I have stayed in a number of premier inns and this one is just as good as the others.

A little bit out of the way so a car is needed, but if you like a quite place in the country side this is the place for you.

Now lets get this right, no internal phone is not a good reason to rate this as a poor place to stay. The food is good and reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and helpful (although I didn't ask for a telephone to be installed) and the price was £150 for 4 nights. My only niggle was that the bed was on the firm side, which in fairness I didn't report to the staff, so who knows maybe something could have been done about that.

Room Tip: Ask for a softer bed if possible.

not recommended if more than 1 room booked or if any concerns of an illness or emergency. There are NO PHONES in the bedrooms of this hotel.
We were on the furthest possible top floor room and my 87yr old disabled parents were in a ground floor bedroom by reception with no way of contacting myself or reception if Dad fell or became ill overnight. They do not have a mobile phone, which was all I was asked by staff.
The room cost £72 with no breakfast for 2 of us. We'd paid £74 for a far superior room in Best Western, Bournemouth the previous night and it included a Full Breakfast each. Shop around before you book!

Room Tip: choose an even number room on top floor...it is less likely to be by the main road and roundabout fo...

I booked this hotel some time ago when planning a trip from Kent to the West Country with my wife.I was somewhat dismayed when a few days before leaving home I checked on " tripadvisor" and discovered that several adverse comments had been posted. These related to poor food standards, unhelpful staff and below par cleaning standards.I was amazed to find that these comments could in no way apply to our findings which found the exact opposite. The hotel was an ideal location for our overnight stop,it was clean, the food choice was ideal for our requirements and the staff friendly and helpful. We will use it again on our next trip to the South West.

Room Tip: Rooms in the recently added wing are the furthest away from the restaurant and do not have any noise...

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a dance festival in frome. Rooms are excellent, reception staff were really helpful. The first night in the restuarant wasnt great service but breakfast and the following evening much better. Food qualtiy was good and a reasonable price. Only takes 20 minutes to get into Bath.

We Booked on line & took the meal deal. Staff on the check in desk/reception were great, Very friendly & quick. It was very busy & they had a private function in the pub but they worked very hard & with a smile. Food quality was very good, the meal deal menu is smaller than the usual one but had a resonable choice. The childrens menu was very resonably priced too. Breakfast was very good all you can eat & lots of choice. Buffet for everything except the cooked breakfast which you ordered fresh to your liking. I would use this hotel & meals in the pub attached again. Even if you don't take the meal deal the prices of main meals started at around £4.99. The Hotel is handy for Longleat & surounding area.

Room Tip: Book a table for evening meal when you book the room. We did & got straight in others had to wai...
