The warmest of welcomes is the start to a wonderful experience, this is the place other B&B owners should visit to see how to do it;I stay in hotels and b&b's every week and this is the jewel in the crown, beautiful rooms that lack for nothing,no traffic to be heard, such very helpful hosts- they even give you a 5 day weather forecast at breakfast, one night in heaven was just not enough!

Great welcome. Very friendly owners, great attention to detail. The rooms and general areas are spotlessly clean and well and tastefully furnished. Tasty and generous breakfast. Bath towels could have been a bit bigger but maybe I could be a bit smaller !

From the moment you arrive and are greeted by such a friendly welcome to the moment you leave the Town Mills is just perfect. All the little touches that you expect in a 4/5 star hotel are here ... and more. From tea and coffee making facilities, shoe care kit, sewing repair kit to cotton wool balls, buds and pads, books, a pack of cards, bottled water, chococates on the pillows and a mini decanter of white port in your room ... it is just so impressive. Breakfast absolutely fantastic. Rooms are warm, welcoming and very comfortable. We just love the Town Mills and hope to go back again soon. Thank you Bryan and Maggie for such a lovely stay.

We stayed in room 5 which had a separate sitting room which was really nice. The accommodation was extremely clean and well cared for and there were some lovely touches such as biscuits, bottled water, chocolates and port in our room. Hubbie loved the port!!! Breakfast was plentiful and very nicely presented in a lovely room, in fact the whole building is enchanting and beautifully maintained. The owners were very welcoming right from the moment we arrived to the minute we left, they made you aware that if you needed them they were very happy to help you but they managed to do this and be unobtrusive as well, which was really good for us. They made sure at all times we had everything we could have wanted including the offer of top ups of tea, coffee, toast etc at breakfast, you will certainly not leave breakfast hungry. The bedroom was very comfortable with plenty of space for clothing, our only disappointment was that it was only a double bed and not a king size which is what we are used to at home but don't let that put you off, it is probably us just being fussy. We would definitely recommend and would stay there again if in the area.

My wife and I were only able to stay one night whilst visiting friends in Dulverton but we wished we could have stayed longer. The accommodation, service and the food were excellent and we were really made to feel at home. We have stayed in hotels and guest houses across the country and this is the only one that we have ever wanted to return to

Stayed for two nights at Town Mills in Dulverton on a house hunting trip (unsuccessful unfortunately!).
We received a very warm welcome from the friendly and helpful owners, Bryan and Maggie who made us feel right at home.
We had the top floor suite which was very spacious, however when we stay again I would request a ground floor room as my arthritic knees found the stairs quite hard going!
It was great to have free wi-fi available and there are lovely touches such as the complimentary white port which was delicious, bottles of mineral water and generous tea and coffee making facilities.
Town Mills is immaculately kept everywhere and the decor is just lovely, especially the gorgeous lamps!
Breakfast was excellent with toast, cereals, fruit, fruit juices and terrific sausages and bacon from the local butcher which kept us going until dinner.
We will be staying at Town Mills on our next trip to Dulverton and really look forward to enjoying more of Maggie and Bryan's hospitality!

Room Tip: Older travellers would be better choosing a ground floor room.
