We have just had 3 nights at Hawkers Cottage at the end of May. It's beautifully presented inside. It's also very clean and comfortable. The lounge/kitchen is upstairs to benefit from the beautiful view of the fields and trees at the back. We were made to feel very welcome too. Clevedon is a lovely town with a very pleasant sea front.
Lovely spacious property that was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Nice balcony off the living room leading down to a garden that our Yorkie was able to explore. Large bedroom and bathroom offering plenty of space, and we found the kitchenette very easy to use, cooking our breakfast and dinner each day during our stay. Our hosts were excellent, leaving us to our own devices but also letting us know that they were available should we have any issues or problems (which we didn't). Convenient location to get to the sea front, but also with woodland walks right on the doorstep - great for walking the dog. Very good value for money, we hope to visit again one day and highly recommend to anyone travelling to that part of the country.

Well-appointed self-catering cottage over two floors with everything a visitor would need, with a deck/balcony overlooking fields and woods at the rear. Very close to the M5 (unnervingly so, at first sight!) but the accommodation was double glazed and inside the cottage the traffic noise was negligible and we soon began to not notice it. Kevin and Lorna were excellent hosts; there for you if you needed anything (not that we did!) but otherwise left us to our own devices, free to come and go whenever we pleased. All in all, I would definitely recommend Hawkers Cottage to other potential visitors looking for a reasonably priced few days away in the countryside around Clevedon/Bristol.

We were looking for a little break away to relax , found this place as opposed to booking same old hotel accommodation , made our break even more special , the owner Kevin gave us good local knowledge & advice for visits & eating out , had some great walks taking in scenery & local buildings , would highly recommend , thank you Kevin

After having just spent a very pleasant stay at Hawkers Cottage I can tell you that it is very pretty little cottage.
The first thing I noticed was how clean and fresh the cottage was. It's set back in a very pretty setting and you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
Kevin is on hand and very welcoming, kind and helpful.
The owners have obviously spent a lot of time on updating the property and ensuring everything is of a high standard and well kept.
Their attention to detail is obvious and they want to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble and I thank them very much for their hospitality!

We were looking for somewhere to stay around Bristol that was cheap, near enough countryside to explore with our dog as well as having the convenience of local amenities and Bristol City Centre - this place ticked all the boxes!
Lovely clean accommodation down a private road that gave you a sense of being away from it all despite being 5 minutes from the motorway. Read some reviews which said the noise could be problem - I didn't notice a thing! (Although it did bother my boyfriend who is a light sleeper).
The owner Kevin was very friendly and accommodating but at the same time left us to our own devices once he knew we were settled. TV, wifi and cooking appliances all in great working order.
The only thing I might pick up on is that the cooking knives were maybe a little blunt and we hadn't realised towels weren't included as part of the bedding - we didn't mention this to the owner however as the price was so fantastic for what we did get this was nothing to moan about!
Would definitely stay again to do some more exploring.
