“Pretty little cottage”
Reviewed April 12, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

After having just spent a very pleasant stay at Hawkers Cottage I can tell you that it is very pretty little cottage.

The first thing I noticed was how clean and fresh the cottage was. It's set back in a very pretty setting and you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Kevin is on hand and very welcoming, kind and helpful.

The owners have obviously spent a lot of time on updating the property and ensuring everything is of a high standard and well kept.

Their attention to detail is obvious and they want to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble and I thank them very much for their hospitality!

“Whole apartment for the price of a cheap b&b!”
Reviewed February 16, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We were looking for somewhere to stay around Bristol that was cheap, near enough countryside to explore with our dog as well as having the convenience of local amenities and Bristol City Centre - this place ticked all the boxes!

Lovely clean accommodation down a private road that gave you a sense of being away from it all despite being 5 minutes from the motorway. Read some reviews which said the noise could be problem - I didn't notice a thing! (Although it did bother my boyfriend who is a light sleeper).

The owner Kevin was very friendly and accommodating but at the same time left us to our own devices once he knew we were settled. TV, wifi and cooking appliances all in great working order.

The only thing I might pick up on is that the cooking knives were maybe a little blunt and we hadn't realised towels weren't included as part of the bedding - we didn't mention this to the owner however as the price was so fantastic for what we did get this was nothing to moan about!

Would definitely stay again to do some more exploring.

“A central comfortable cottage”
Reviewed October 5, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

I booked last minute and Kevin responded promptly to all my enquiries so I was put at ease. The cottage is clean and comfortable with everything there you could want and more. There are lovely views at the back up to Cadbury Wood. Clevedon is a friendly town with plenty of shops and easy access to Bristol the rest of Somerset and Devon.
I was made to feel at home and certainly Arni, my dog, was totally at home! There are amazing walks on the doorstep and along the Bristol Channel - a paradise for dog lovers. There is motorway noise but after the first night I was fine.

“Get away from it all in Somerset”
Reviewed September 20, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We spent a few lovely days at Hawkers Cottage. Kevin, the owner, was most helpful and his two dogs were delightful!
The apartment was roomy and although basic in facilities, had everything we needed for a brief holiday.
Clevedon itself was pleasantly surprising and although we were extremely close to the motorway it did not trouble us. This was one of the handiest things about the location as we could explore Somerset with ease.
We would both recommend Hawkers Cottage to get away from it all.

Absolutely fab place, spacious place to relax. It has everything on hand, you couldn't possibly want anything more
- Hairdyer for you ladys
- an iron and ironing board
- tea, coffee, sugar and even fresh milk in the fridge on arrival.

Very friendly owner, couldn't of been more helpful as it was our first time down here and we were looking for things to do and keep us busy whilst we were here and he was more than happy to give us some ideas and tell us the attrActions around these parts!

We would definitely recommend this place for anybody who is looking for a break away! We will definitely be coming back again next year 100%.

Thank you Kevin!
