Delicous food and fantastic service, perfect evening meal & lovely atmosphere! Great value for money and the wine bar down stairs was a lovely ending place after our meal. Will definately go again!

This is the second takeaway we have have had in the least 12 months from here.
Poor quality, poor taste. The chicken was thin and rubbery, the egg fried rice had hardly any egg. The chicken satay was disgusting, the szechuan chicken sauce was OK but the contents were not good. The service was not very good, I had to ask for my order to be taken, the 3 young waiters were disorganised. The prawn crackers were a bit stale - basic stuff. At £25 for two plus fuel feel slightly cheated - am I missing something - this is clearly not fresh!??!! Seaweed was the only thing that was OK. Teohs in Bristol is in a different league and far cheaper.

Having been here before, decided to come here as we could not find a Trad Sunday lunch venue at short notice.
Am I glad we couldn't, the service and food were exemplary. A wide choice of menus at very reasonable prices, coupled with attentive but not intrusive service. Even though they were due to close at 2pm, there was no move to ask us to leave and it was only when we realised it was 3.15pm that we asked for the bill and apologised for keeping them waiting.

This was 1st time in restaurant,

laughter meets you as the whole place was buzzing with people having a great time mr junior doing the rounds spending time with his customers like a gentle butterfly not in your face but just fluttering about nicely, the staff taking a leaf from juniors book tending carefully to the packed out room.

The food was not the best but I get the fact people come here for the warm charming Attention.

The bar downstairs has wall of fame tony hart paintings and a touching framed letter and photo of one of our lads in Afghanistan who has written how he can't wait to get back and go to junior poon restaurant.

This place is a gem.

Despite a map, we found the restaurant rather hard to find but managed eventually. Parking was not easy to find either. The place was fairly packed when we arrived but we were seated pretty much straight away and there was no long wait for anything. Throughout, we found that the owner and staff were really very attentive, friendly and pleasant which goes a long way to ensuring a good evening. Food on the other hand was nothing particularly special although it is certainly far better than the other Chinese restaurants in the area. There was nothing wrong with the food as such but it just seemed to lack that extra little bit of culinary magic that sets apart the really good restaurants and was thus, rather mundane. However, prices were not overly expensive and we would certainly return.
