Having had a few ok visits to eat at the Harp, I was very disappointed with the service this time. My past expectations meant I chose to take guests here for good, tasty, pub grub. However, this time it was like something off a TV programme. Four of the part ordered the "award winning" fish dish and got either no lemon or lemons covered in green and black mould. The fish was also a bit cold and boney and the mushy peas were disgusting. The waiter was unhelpful and bought replacement lemons out using his hands! The only shining light of the visit was talking to the manager at the end who showed some emotion and sympathy at what happened.
I would go to the pub again, trusting it was a blip and the positive feedback of others, but find the inconsistent performance a worry!

We visit the Little Harp at least 3-4 times a month as it's our local.... In the Winter it's cosy and warm, as well as being very tastefully decorated. In the Summer is when the Little Harp is at it's best. We often sit outside overlooking the sea sipping wine and eating good pub grub well into the evening......
We often visit mid- week for the 2 meals for £10 specail offer, cheaper than cooking and washing up sometimes!
The meals are always consistant, hearty and good value for money.
It's hardly Michelin Star, but Id like to think im under no illusions what to expect from a meal costing between £7.00 & £10.00.

If you manage to reserve a window seat overlooking the sea, it makes the whole experience even better.

Great pub all round.

Slightly disappointed that there were 3 items (all of which were selected by my wife and 2 friends) that were not available, but were not informed at time of ordering, this meant the server came back 3 times. Also did not remove one of the items from the specials menu!
Other than that food was good and a pleasant atmosphere.

The food is good for a sea front pub andthe location in Clevedon cannot be bettered. A good range of beers offered and plenty of areas to sit and eat, but if you want a sea front view, then it is best to book
