Great little find for a weekend away. Easy communication with the owner. Lovely warm cottage in a little village with shop and pub. Dog friendly, comfy bed. Perfect!
Stayed here with two friends for the weekend. We loved this quirky cottage it had everything we needed really comfy beds and a great location. Owner was incredibly helpful welcome tea and coffees. We loved ninas takeaway too. Thoroughly recommend would go again.
Nice village location, deceptively large cottage with a lovely log burner. Great walks nearby, perfect for a relaxing break. The owner very pleasant a day helpful over the phone before and during our stay, thank you!
Lovely well equipped cottage, Owner helpfully rang before the holiday and gave all the details which was nice to have that contact. It had everything we needed for the weekend. Lovely biscuits in the welcome pack!
We will most likely be coming back here to explore more of the local area as very well located. If it had Wifi we would stay for longer but the mobile reception is a bit hit and miss so we had difficulty contacting friends to meet up. If you don't need it though, there is so much to do in the area that it is a great base.
We had a great time here, it was perfect for my 3 and 6 year old children, a visit to Kilve beach is a must and we were very lucky to chance upon the abandoned Lilstock church. The village is lovely and we spent a morning exploring the castle, church and natural spring. No wifi was not a big deal but we couldn't book onto the West Somerset Railway and when I rang their enquiries, they told me to just book online! I would happily recommend the cottage and it was good value for money.
The village the people but most the cottage old traditional but modern living facilities great centre for holiday with lots of places to visit within easy reach. while staying in a lovely part of county. The cottage provides a family holiday home with good facilities for children and pets. Comfortable in both dry and wet weather with lots to do even games provided. will definatley book again and would recommend to anyone.
The cottage was in a quiet village in the perfect spot to explore the surrounding areas. We visited Minehead on the West somerset railway, drove to Western Supermere, Taunton and a visit to Dunster castle is a must. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could have needed. We had a very comfortable stay and is a place we would like to visit again sometime in the future.
