We had the good fortune on choosing this lovely hotel by chance for a Saturday night stay. The welcome we received was second to none, the room warm, tasteful and very comfortable and clean. Mark and Michelle were fantastic hosts and the evening meal was just fabulous. Extremely good value for money and comes highly reccomended.

Had a fabulous night here with friends. We arrived at one o'clock and were immediately shown to our rooms by Mark. We has a lovely afternoon sitting in front of an open fire, catching up.Having dined in the restaurant we stayed overnight. Had a spacious room which overlooked the main street. Very well equipped and very homely. Amazing breakfast.

Stayed for two nights whilst on business in the Shrewsbury area. I really enjoyed it from the moment I arrived at 9pm and the owner was there to guide me into the rear car park to when I checked out two days later. Sebastians really has a homely feel, and the service from the staff really is first class and would put many others to shame. Where it does excel though is in its food. I had the 5-course menu, which was well worth the money given the quality of food and the way it was presented. Fine dining in Oswestry? Look no further than Sebastians.

We spent a rather rushed Saturday night here on our way to North Wales and we were so impressed with the hospitality we received that we are already planning a return visit when we will hopefully have more time to enjoy this wonderful little hotel and eat in the fabulous looking restaurant.

The room, although small, was beautifully decorated and filled with little details that showed that the owners had gone out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. Expensive looking toiletries in the bathroom, top quality tea and coffee and lovely, luxurious towels and bedding.

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, by far the best hotel / B & B breakfast I have ever had. Although we were the only people staying that night, they still provided a full continental buffet just for us and the cooked breakfast was absolutey superb.

Unfortunately there isn't a bar for residents as it is a restaurant not a typical hotel but there is a small, lounge area and a lovely courtyard for when the sun is shining. Large car park at the back of the hotel.

We had the most fantastic time last weekend. From the moment we arrived to late check-out we were looked after superbly and every wish was more than fullfilled. We celebrated our combined 50th birthday and Mark went out of his way to create the most stunning 6-course dinner. He accomodated all the little requests we had with any fuss and each course was superb with the seafood dish taking the crown. The wines along with every course were well choosen and accompanied each dish perfectly. Michelle as front of house could have not been more attentative along with the rest of the staff. Breakfast in the mornings was delightful and the salmon on poached eggs to-die-for. The rooms were very cosy and you felt at home straight away with a big sofa to sink into. The lovely courtyard invites you stay for a cup of tea or coffee. We will definately come back.

Whilst the restaurant was closed during our visit - we knew in advance as the owners told us they were going to be on holiday - the treatment we received as hotel guests was special. A call to us the day before we set off the check when we would be likely to arrive, warm welcome, check on our time of return after an evening event to make sure someone was around to lock the car park, excellent breakfast, cheery goodbye.

Room Tip: We had a first floor room in the rear extension and found it very quiet.

Both owners, Michelle and Mark, and staff were so lovely, welcoming, friendly and couldn't do more to make us feel special. The food was amazing, we had the Market place £19.95 menu and ran out of adjectives to describe to each other how tasty we thought everything was! Wine was well priced and lovely too. Our room was clean, tasteful and comfortable. We thought about not posting a review to keep this one for ourselves! Then decided that wouldn't be the best way to thank Michelle and Mark for their hospitality!

Room Tip: Keep windows shut as their is a pub/club down the road a bit that gets a bit rowdy as the general da...
