“An oasis”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is an oasis in the middle of Oswestry. A few steps from shops, car park and banks but is a quiet green space with facilities for all ages. Wonderful planting arrangements in the flower beds.

“A great park for all ages”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

The mini golf area is cheap, has friendly on site staff and was a lot of fun, the play park is great with some unique equipment which caters for every age from young toddlers right up to adults. I particularly like the exercise machines. There are some lovely statues and a water feature as long as a bandstand. Overall a really nice well kept park with clean public toilets. Lovely few hours spent with family.

“A vital green centre”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

When shopping in Oswestry one can always cross the road and relax in Cae Glas park. Entrances from the Post Office, Red Square as well as three other entrances from adjacent roads and from the rear of the churchyard.
There is a reasonable play area for children and a superb green space to run around and play ball.
On some Sunday afternoons bands play in the park and often special events take place there.
The floral displays are great and now a metal sculpture trail is being laid out.
Well worth a free visit for a relaxing hour or two.

Reviewed July 29, 2013

Beautiful gardens and war memorial also a few metal pieces of art. Every Sunday during the summer there is live bands playing. Take a picnic and sit and listen with your friends, there is a gated play area for the children and also mini golf. Lovely calm and relax day out.
