Don't want this to become too popular, otherwise we won't get a table!
On one of the entrance roads to industrial estates on the outskirts of Oswestry is this lovely little cafe/restaurant. We thought it would be a 'greasy spoon' place, but were bowled over by everything about it; as well as waitress service, it has takeaway options.
The cafe is bright, clean and spacious, and has free papers to borrow, free WiFi access, and a TV on a wall tuned to a news station (fortunately no sound, but subtitles).
The staff are really friendly, helpful and accommodating, and didn't mind "incinerating" the bacon for Jane's sandwich! All food choices are excellent value for money, and very fresh (and very hot, too, where required).
The toilets are immaculate (yes, even the gents!).
They have a loyalty card for regular visitors ~ which we now are every time we visit the town.
