We (family of 4) left Norfolk early that morning then drove to Cadbury world in Birmingham. We were exhausted by the time we arrived but were glad to find a clean room. We had breakfast in the adjoining bar the next morning. It was lovely apart from the cups. I lifted at least 8 before I found a clean one that wasn't dirty or stained. Apart from that, we had a good night on our way to Wales.

Just back from a short break, sight seeing in mid wales to Powys Castle and Lake Vrnwy (both stunning!) . Found this to be a convenient base for our trip just a few hundred yards from the mile end roundabout ( A483) on the road signed Oswestry, not quite where the postcode suggests. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room well equipped and comfortable and the food at the Oswalds Cross pub next door was tasty and plentiful. We ate from the midweek before 6.30pm menu and the continental breakfast, thought both were good value and excellent quality. The only slight niggle was a lorry starting up nearby at 6.30am, but life isn't perfect is it.

Room Tip: The front of the hotel has a nicer view, and top floor is usually quietest.

We only stayed for one night as we had to attend a funeral in the area.

We have stayed at Premier Inns before but this one was particularly good. We arrived before the normal check in time but the lady on reception managed to find us a room straight away when we explained that we were in a bit of a hurry.

Everything was just as you would expect from a Premier Inn but it just seemed to be a bit better than others that we have stayed in.

The pub next door "Oswalds Cross" was very nice. We had a quick lunch in there and breakfast the next day. Food was good and prices very reasonable.
