We stayed in the coach house suite, a superb self catering suite that's just as the pictures on the website show it. Nice & comfortable with a small patio doored balcony & lovely view so quiet as well just as we like it. We were left cake & fresh milk as well as the usual coffee, tea, biscuits & hot chocolate.
Breakfast was delicious served in the conservatory which is a nice addition to the main house, we were greeted extremely warmly both on arrival yesterday & on going across for breakfast this morning which is always nice.
A very enjoyable night & if we plan to stay in the area again we'll be back!.

Room Tip: Loved the Coach House Suite so quiet.

Thank you for your lovely review and all the more meaningful from a senior contributor. We are so glad you enjoyed your brief stay to celebrate your Wedding Anniversary and shortly before having a new baby. Trust everything goes to plan and hope to see you both again at some time. It was a pleasure to have you to stay. Best wishes, Anthony & Tricia.

We have just returned from spending a very pleasant few days in the Coach House Suite at this property. The suite is a self contained flatlet with all amenities, including its own kitchen. It is set apart from the main house and is extremely peaceful - the only sounds being birdsong from the surrounding trees and hedgerows.
Each day we had breakfast in the conservatory of the cottage , which looks out on to a lovely enclosed garden. The breakfast is superb and beautifully prepared.
The cottage is situated in a lovely area and there many nice places to visit.
The owners Tricia and Anthony are wonderful hosts - nothing is too much trouble and you are always made to feel very welcome.
I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to have a completely relaxing holiday.

Many thanks for your extremely kind review especially from such a "seasoned reviewer". We are glad to know that you both enjoyed your latest stay with us as much as on your previous visits. We do try hard to be consistently good and so we are pleased to hear that our efforts are being much appreciated.
Thank you also for reminding us of the quiet and tranquillity at Old Quarry Cottage. Living here we sometimes take these sort of things very much for granted.
Looking forward to welcoming you both once again in the future.
Best wishes, Tricia and Anthony.

We stayed for 4 nights over the New Year period and were very impressed with the facilities offered for the price. The owners are very friendly and helped out both with the warm mince pies on our arrival and walking maps of the area. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed/sitting room comfortable and light. With several lovely towns as well as good walking, friendly pubs and Wenlock Edge literally up the road, we will be booking again in the near future.

Many thanks. So glad you enjoyed it all in spite of the weather! And being with your good friends for New Year was perhaps a added bonus. Also many thanks for leaving the apartment so clean and tidy! Look forward to welcoming you back.

Stayed in the Coach House for two nights with my boyfriend. Had a wonderful time, great location, so much to see and do we run out of time. Did 3 lovely walks in the surrounding countryside, had a great evening at the Feathers talking to the staff. Attended the fireworks display at Church Stretton, packed so much into 3 days. Accomodation in the Coach House was second to none, the chocolate cake on arrival was especially welcome. We were lucky with the weather, cold but sunny. Fantastic scrambled egg on toast for breakfast and Tricia's lemon marmalade. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Coach house for two nights. The accommodation was first class - tastefully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean. Tricia and Anthony were excellent hosts with a warm welcome and helpful advice when required. The breakfasts were superb and taken on a lovely conservatory overlooking the secluded garden.
Someone mentioned the lack of street lighting but torches were supplied in the accommodation. We ate at the local pub - The Feathers and also at the Wenlock Edge pub up the hill in Easthorpe. Both were good.
Although we were on a B&B basis the kitchen looked well equiped and we plan to return for a week self catering sometime. We would miss the breakfast but having it every day for a week might not be good for the waistline!

We stayed for B&B for two nights with another couple during a visit to Ironbridge and Much Wenlock. The accommodation in an adjoining coach house and the breakfast excellent value and the attention provided by the owners was very good. Two minor issues to be aware of is that there is no lighting during dark nights on the country road between the cottage and the local hostelry 250 yards away, and that the drive from the road to the cottage is narrow for an admittedly large car.

We would use be happy to use this establisment again

We have just spent two very enjoyable days at Old Quarry Cottage,Tricia and Anthony made us very welcome in their beautiful home, the room was clean and cosy with so many extras if needed!

Breakfast was plentiful and freshly served in the conservatory with a lovely view of the garden.

A very pleasant place to stay if visiting Shropshire.
