Mynd House is a comfortable and welcoming place to stay and everything is done to a very high standard. Our room (Caradoc) was very clean and comfortable and Sue and Dave looked after us very well. There's a cracking pub (The Ragleth Arms) just a short walk down the street with good beer and food. The breakfast at Mynd House was also excellent. Really, you can't fault this place (but even if you could you wouldn't want to because the people are so nice!)

Beautifully decorated, clean and cared for. Lovely rooms. Excellent breakfast. Dave and Sue, the proprietors, are polite, hospitable and welcoming. Can't praise this B&B enough. They are well used to walkers. And it is just a few yards from a great pub too.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our 5 night stay at Mynd House. Often I conjure up romantic images of a place I have researched and chosen. Most of the time reality doesn't match my image. That was not the case here. Mynd House exceeded my expectations! It had the "feel" I was looking for. The rooms were well appointed, the accouterments were high quality. What really made it a special place was the owners - Dave and Sue. The were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive.

The breakfast - full English, if desired was delicious. I couldn't resist the basil muffins each morning.

The area, the Shopshire Hills is a wonderful place to hike or walk. Mynd House had every resource I could want to consult to plan my walks and other activities.

Don't miss visiting this are and staying at the Mynd House.

Spent one night at Mynd House and cannot fault it. Sue and Dave are so hospitable it's just like staying with friends. The rooms are just as described on their website, spotless and comfortable. The extensive choice at breakfast from local suppliers excels all expectations and the savoury muffins are 'to die for'. If you're in the area, this is the place to stay.

I stayed at Mynd House for 3 nights during a group walking holiday and cannot recommend it highly enough. Sue and Dave who own and run the guest house are warm and attentive hosts who have created a lovely environment in which to stay. I stayed in the Hazler suite which was lovely and the downstairs lounge and bar areas are comfortable with plenty of books and maps avaliable on the surrounding area.

Because I stayed with a group that took over all the rooms in Mynd House we had evening meals provided and the food was excellent with an interesting choice of vegetarian dishes. For breakfast there were numerous museli's to choose from along with fruit and yogurts as well as a choice of cooked breakfasts.

All in all I would recommend Mynd House to anyone and would certainly stay there again if I am in the area in the future.
