Went here as part of a group - food service was quick and friendly and there were enough choices to keep everyone happy. Ranging from fish and chips to venison casserole. Lovely English pub atmosphere.

We had booked the upstairs function room for my daughters surprise 21st Party. It was just the right size for a small party -about 50 people. We had Canapés and three hot main dishes . The canapés were fabulous, as were the hot main courses. Everybody commented on the wonderful food, and the staff were hard working and eager to please. We all had a wonderful time. Would recommend The Plough , and very good value for money. Well Done. Looking forward to when the garden is open after a refurb.

Found this by accident on our way from Oxford to Heathrow - we wanted a nice Sunday roast lunch. Small and friendly, got us going with delicious olives, oil and bread, then we all had the roast pork. Everything freshly cooked and tasty. It's also baby-friendly: high chair provided.
