My wife's favourite 'tea' room, it provides a warm inviting atmosphere with a good choice of menu. The full english is recommended as is the omelette and the ice cream (not at the same time!). We enjoy our visits here, the last one only spoilt by all 5 staff being far too busy washing up and chatting to actually clear the plates, ask how everything was (excellent) and whether we wanted a dessert (which we did). It is nice to have a break between courses but this wasn't a purposeful courtesy but a lack of awareness. A bit 'Victor Meldrew'? Yes, but it did spoil a nice afternoon.
