This church is friendly and well kept. Always made to feel very welcome here if you attend weekly or not. Requests for information on the history of the church is always welcomed with much enthusiasm.

This lovely church has the feel of a large village church, as it set back from the main high street in a large churchyard with a cricket pitch at the bottom of it.

Lots of great quality stained glass as well as several tombs, including a very detailed one of a knight and his wife.

Also, lots of wall plaques detailing some interesting local people and their deaths.

Lots of wildlife in the graveyard as well, and also lots of nicely pollarded trees.

Visited the grave of Robin Gibb . Beautiful headstone, but i was surprised to see it so untidy with dead flowers .the family home is just across the road, they have a gardener ,I thought they would keep the grave in better shape.

Got stuck in Thame when our car battery died, so explored while waiting for roadside assistance to arrive. St Mary's Church has a number of very interesting tombs and memorials, as well as 16th century panelling and stalls with poppy-head finials, so well worth a visit if these are of interest. Also a few bits of wall painting.
