Well it is a barn conversion - perhaps 20+ years old. Huge exposed beams, high ceilings , small windows.
It's upstairs, quite large, with table and chairs, fridge, kitchenette, ensuite, etc. Decor is older style, but it is clean and comfortable, with electric heating. The ensuite is a bit on the small side, but clean and functional.
The bed was a little soft for us, but not so that we couldn't sleep.
The breakfast was adequate, the cooked part delivered to the room - the rest we prepared ourselves. Certainly not as substantial as many other B&Bs, but it was OK.
Wifi was not provided, however, the owner kindly allowed us to go into the main house to use their wifi for email etc.
Parking was off street and secure, although a little tricky to get into.
The barn is in the village of Steeple Aston - walking distance to the Red Lion pub via the roads, or the pathway .
The property has a huge and interesting garden which we were invited to inspect.
No credit card facilities so you will need cash (this is common in maybe half the B&Bs we have stayed in)
We stayed here mainly because it was close to Blenheim Palace, and it is (only a 15 min drive).
