Very welcoming Hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Spa facilities seemed limited as members were given priority. Pool area very small and extremely hot in good weather, would go again as food was excellent and plentiful. very good value for our short stay

Room Tip: Room very good no air con but windows did open and a fan was provided.

Spent a night here after a weekend in Oxford as part of the Q Hotels Breakaway Club offer of room and breakfast for just £45 on a Sunday night!
On arrival we were told we'd been upgraded to an executive suite which was unexpected, but most welcome, especially given the good price we were already getting. The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi bath, there was a separate dressing area and a sofa in the bedroom.
Breakfast was good with a great choice of food, although this was slightly let down by the member of staff waiting on our table who brought tea then disappeared before we could point out we'd been seated at a table with no cups, then once he'd finally returned and we'd managed to get cups we then had to wait for him to re-appear before we could request we be provided with milk which was also missing from the table. There did seem to be a shortage of staff around as no-one else was around to help. Overall though this was a minor annoyance in the overall stay, which was great, and we'd happily stay here again.

I stayed as part of a business meeting and was given a very luxurious suite room number 160. The meal was of good quality and the service was excellent. Make sure you tell them exactly what you want and they deliver. The only negative was a broken shaver socket.

I was invited by a friend who had a birthday voucher which included 2 treatments each and lunch.
Our treatments started at 11am and we didn't finish until around 1pm. We asked what time lunch was served until and was told 2.30pm but unfortunately when we arrived at 1.45pm the buffet had finished. The staff were very apologetic so we ordered from the bar menu which wasn't a problem.
If we had thought ahead we would have gone into the spa area with a small pool and used the steam and sauna room first but as our treatments included a body massage we didn't want to wash our nice oils of.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and I would certainly recommend the spa treatments.
We had a wonderful and relaxing day and look forward to returning again.

Room Tip: Do the sauna and steam room before treatments.

£99 for Room dinner and breakfast is a a really good deal and we didn't regret coming to stay here for a second. The room was spacious and looked out onto the hotel grounds.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. We are already talking about a repeat visit.

The Oxford Belfry is a hidden gem in the Oxfordshire countryside. I stumbled over the hotel on lastminute.com looking for a nights stay with my husband.
After making the booking I inquired whether we could use the spa facilities before official check-in time, which they happily agreed!
After spending the day by the poolside which was pleasantly peaceful and using the sauna and steam room (the only facility which could be improved) we then checked in. Room was a decent size and quiet considering the proximity to m40 and faultlessly clean.
Our three course meal (included in booking) was amazing- and many thanks to Liam who was an attentive, welcoming and personable waiter.
We then retreated to room and slept very well- no disturbance from the huge conference who they seemed to have accommodated at the other side of hotel-thankfully.
All the staff were helpful and approachable and couldn't be faulted. I highly recommend this hotel, and would return.
