Good location easy to find and large car parks, excellent rooms and facilities, good choice of food for our group and well managed timings. Effecient service, comfortable beds and great bathrooms.
Breakfast was a little ordinary.

Room Tip: Take advantage of the spa it is well run, some sooms have been refurb'd and are excellent.

Just spent the holiday weekend at this hotel. Very relaxing, staff all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We treated ourselves to a suite, the extra space was great. Rooms were spacious and little extras were welcome I.e. wine, peanuts etc also a Tassimo machine. ( we belong to their Breakaway Club). Food was excellent and buffet breakfast more than ample. The only negative was a temperamental toaster which I looked upon as a challenge! Will be returning soon I hope.

The Oxford Belfry is a large hotel some 12 miles from city center and seems mainly to be used as a business and conference place. However as a guest on a Qhotel break it makes for a very good option when visiting Oxford. We were given a suite in what looked like a newly refurbished part of the hotel and couldn’t fault it. Huge room and bathroom to die for and the free goodies in the mini bar were a very nice bonus. The staff were friendly and in the main quite efficient, the food was OK but a bit ordinary and uninspiring although nicely presented and well cooked. All in all a good stay and one, at the price we paid, I would repeat.

The Oxford Belfry has a great reputation, so I was expecting first class service all the way at a recent stay. Long queue at reception with only one receptionist on a busy Saturday afternoon - not a good start. Nice room, but had no real character or charm going for it. However it did have everything we needed. We decided to have a quick bite to eat before leaving for the wedding we were in Thame for. Lunch and drinks duly ordered. Drinks arrived but needed straws as they were long cocktails, but no straws could be found! Well not for at least twenty minutes. Lunch arrived, chips boiling hot on the outside, but were frozen on the inside, sent them back, huge new bowl of chips arrived lovely and brown on the outside but still uncooked on the inside. We received an apology and were asked if we wanted a free drink, but still had to pay £40 which we felt a bit steep for a couple of panini's and no chips. Breakfast next morning was fine, plenty of it, but the restaurant was a bit like Piccadilly Circus, very noisy and two very slow toast machines.

So would we stay there again - probably not.

Room Tip: Try the upper floors, as there is a strong smell of smoke walking along lower ground corridors.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel, comfortable room, friendly staff, would highly recommend...The food was a very high standard...a lovely garden with conservatory to relax in... and they had two wonderful heated loungers in the pool area....Overall a very good stay
