We gad a Groupon offer to stay here so the mrs and I went to have a break for the weekend.
The room was brilliant, well equipped, clean and tidy. The en-suite had a seperte double shower and bath tub which was quite refreshing considering most establishments are happy to have the shower/ bath combo. The bed was really spacious with a comfortable mattress had a really good nights sleep, the rooms darkness was fantastic, completely pitch black with the lights off and curtains drawn.
We had our evening meal in the Sakura restaurant, the staff were very attentive and the food was fabulous, I personally found the portion size quite large - and I do enjoy a large portion, however this is a plus as there is nothing worse than having dinner then feeling hungry a couple of hours later. Restaurant price was reasonable for a hotel, the two of us had dinner with drinks and dessert for £55. I had the carbonara which was absolutely delicious and the ice cream for dessert- the chocolate ice cream they serve is amazing and well worth the price tag. Breakfast was included in the package, the usual affair with hotel breakfast buffet, however the standard of the food was far superior to the usual premier inn-esque quantity over quality.
We both had the back and beyond massage from the on site spa which was really relaxing. The spa staff member was very engaging and made the experience quite nice.
Highly recommended hotel to get away from the world for a bit. Cannot comment on the golf as neither my wife or myself follow or play.

I stayed in this modern spacious hotel for one night in February as part of a weekend trip to Oxford and was made very welcome throughout the stay. The room was fantastic. The golf even more amazing (despite the cold weather). I would recommend all aspects except the bar food price I thought was a little expensive. The pool and leisure facilities in the spa were good and easily accessible from my room on the ground floor. Breakfast choices were great too with more assortment of healthy options than are usually found.

Me and my partner went on a shopping trip to Bicester village and decided to stay the night here after reading other reviews, they did not let us down. The location is very quiet and relaxing, the drive through the gates is amazing. The staff are helpful and friendly, the bar very good priced and a nice atmosphere, we did not dine in that night we had a wonder to the local town of Thame which was nice. The spa area (swimming pool saunas steam room and hot tub) brilliant. The too. Was very big. Lovely decorations, the shower was so big you could of had a party in it, with a separate bath. The bed was so comfy we slept well! We also had a balcony although it was very wet outside. Breakfast was very nice and check out very easy. All in all 5 out of 5

We stayed here as shopping at Bicester 18 miles away. Originally they had no record of our booking even though we'd booked direct and called twice with requirements. Fortunately the hotel was not busy so we were given a room. The room did not have much a a view but we were pleasantly surprised when the lady on the desk came to the bar to tell us
she had a better room with a nicer view. This was great service as we hadn't complained. It then got better and better. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Beds very comfortable and breakfast perfect.
We used the spa facilities as well and everything was clean. Staff friendly.
Will stay again.

My husband and I stayed here as we were going shopping at Bicester village and wanted to make a weekend out of it. We arrived late afternoon, we stayed in room 309 which apart from the bathroom fan not working was a lovely room. The bed was big and really comfy, big wardrobe with mirrored doors, big tv on the wall, balcony, bottles of water and hot drinks and a desperate bath and shower. We used the pool facilities, it was nice, quiet and clean.
We went to the hotel restaurant in the evening and received a complimentary drink as I had mentioned it was my husband's birthday when booking, which was a nice touch. The food and service was excellent, an intimate restaurant which apparently over looks the golf course but it was dark so we couldn't see it.
Breakfast was delicious, again excellent service, with a wide selection of fruit, cereal, croissants and a cooked breakfast.
We had a great weekend, we felt totally relaxed and spent the next day wandering around Oford.

Stayed here while on business in the Oxford area. A golf resort, but do not let that put the non golfers off. The rooms a large and very comfortable. Food can be ordered in the bar or in the restaurant. Residents have access to the spa area with its pool and sauna. A hotel for relaxing in.

We had originally booked this hotel as one night spa break after reading the reviews on here.
On arrival the hotel staff were welcoming and answered all questions in a professional and friendly.
We had booked an executive room and were not disappointed. The room was spacious and kept to the highest standard. The King size bed was the most comfortable bed i have ever been in. Had probably one of the best nights sleep ive ever had.
The bathroom was great, had everything you'd need.
Only issue which wasnt really that bad for a one night stay was the view from the room. It over looked the back entrance to the hotel, not the worst thing but not the ideal view from the balcony.
Choice of food for breakfast was perfect, pretty much everything you could ask for, with a lovely view over the golf course.

The only other issue we had was the fact that we had booked this to have a spa weekend but on arrival we called the spa from the room to book our treatments, however they were fully booked. This is as much our fault for not pre planning.

Overall if your looking for a short stay then this hotel is great, just book all treatments in advance.
