Have just come back from a weekend where we were lucky enough to have a Groupon offer. Mr husband and brother in law played golf and said that this was one of the best golf courses that they've played on. Lots of water and bunkers!! They both hired a power caddy at £10 each as buggies aren't allowed in March! Myself and my sister in law both had a massage by the lovely Vicky. We both felt very relaxed after and then went on to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi etc. Make sure you ask for a dressing gown after any treatment as this saves you having to get dressed to go back to your room. Also they supply towels to use in the pool area so you don't have to take any. The rooms are spacious and well equiped, they are beautifully decorated and have enough storage and hanging space, chairs and a table to sit and have a coffee. The shower is lovely and its seperate to the bath. There is a hairdryer supplied but it is one of the ones you have to hold the button down constantly, so if youve got a lot of hair to dry you will get thumb ache!! You have a Tassimo coffee machine in your room with a selection of coffees, teas and hot chocolate and if you run out then just ask, they are more than happy to supply more. Our key card stopped working and they replaced it without any fuss immediately. We didn't dine in the restuarant in the evening, we took a cab to Thame £8, and went to Prezzos. We all had a good sleep, the beds were comfortable and your head sank in the pillows. We went to breakfast at 9.30 and thete was plenty of food left. They constantly refilled the trays. They had a selection for cornflakes and Muesli, Croissants, Yoghurts, Fruits in (i think) honey, toast and then Bacon, Sausages (lovely), tomatoes, mushrooms and poached eggs. They had Coffee, Tea, Water, juices and milk. The hotel is well worth a visit and set in beautiful grounds behind Electric Gates, we would definately come back again even without the offer. It would be a good place to visit the area as it there are some lovely quaint villages around!

Stayed here for one night on a business trip, had nothing bad to say about it. I travel for business to this area a couple times a year, and I have stayed in at least five different hotels in the area, and this was the best one yet.

For a reasonable price, in fact, cheaper than much shabbier hotels in the area, you get a clean, large room with a comfortable bed, a balcony, and friendly service.

I never had time to try the spa, pool, or golf, but ate dinner and breakfast at the restaruant and the food was good. We were the only table in the rest. for dinner for most of the time we were in there, which made me think of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, but the food was quite good. I was more impressed with the food at dinner. The breakfast was just okay. Actually, I can think of one thing that was not so great about the hotel--the servers at breakfast seemed very new and inexperienced. I imagine they will get better shortly though so that will solve that problem.

I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area and look forward to trying out the pool and fitness center next time.

My boyfriend & I stayed here after purchasing a Groupon offer which included bed, breakfast, 2 full body massages. If your driving there then the sat nav takes you a strange way so check with the hotel for the correct one! On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist which checked our reservations in the Spa and we also made dinner reservations (as there is nothing nearby you are limited but we didn't mind).
The room: a beautiful decor of muted greys and silvers. Extremely clean with White company toiletries and plenty of towels. A large plasma, fancy coffee machine and a slight balcony although our view was a bit grey due to the miserable weather! Bed was super comfy and spacious.
Spa: my therapist Laura was wonderful and I truly enjoyed the treatment. we never used the pool so can't comment.
Restaurant: Food was lovely presented and tasted lovely. Also the breads/olives was tasty only thing that let the restaurant down was the decor it was pretty drab with such lovely food they could do with a more sumptuous dining area felt like a conference room with candles.
Breakfast: we opted to have our breakfast in our room (at no extra charge) which was lovely and a great choice for both of us.
All staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. I hope this hotel does well and remains the same.

After a hectic week we just needed some peace in luxury surroundings and this place did not disappoint at all, The rooms are of a very very high standard with lots of little touches, White Co toiletries, bottled water, twinning tea selection ect. Friday evening we just had bar food, the bar man - "Louis III " could not have been more helpful and his service implacable (thanks Louis), Saturday we ate in the restaurant and the food quality was way beyond our expectations, a week earlier I had eaten the same dish at Claridges and this exceed that, service again could not be faulted and with Racheal Mealing at the helm this place will go far , would go back for the food alone. The leisure facilities are great for an unwind and ample parking all weekend. Would recommend without hesitation...enjoy.

Myself and a friend stayed for two nights in an Executive Penthouse Suite. The room itself was stupendous while the food in the restaurant was, not only, beautifully presented but cooked to perfection. The staff were all polite, friendly and professional and could not have been more helpful - the restaurant manager (Rachael) really knew her stuff. Neither my friend or myself play golf - we simply wanted a relaxing weekend where there was a spa and a jacuzzi/swimming pool - but the golf course was huge and when we went for a stroll around the perimeter it took us and hour and a half to walk round. We had a really relaxing and well pampered stay. (The only down bit was the sandwich we ordered on arrival as the bread seemed a bit dry but that was a minor issue). We did not want to travel outside the hotel but were assured by staff that it would be an easy drive to Bicester or Oxford if we changed our minds. Would recommend it to anyone who wants peace, quiet and relaxation.
