What a pleasant place to stay. Quiet relaxing backwater with friendly hosts and everything to hand for a few day's b&b. Room was spacious and well decorated with lounge area. Quite honestly, it was much better than many 4 star hotels we have stayed in and this is obviously due to the owners' personal touch - we have found with other places like this that they usually provide facilities in which they would like to stay. Would definitely recommend to friends. Ladies - it is within easy striking distance of Bicester village too!

Stayed here for one night with 2 girl friends after a days shopping at Bicester Village. We were delighted when we arrived - The landlady popped straight out as soon as we arrived with the key and showed us to a wonderful triple room - 3 single beds, the room was decorated really nicely - the beds were really comfy with lovely duvets. Nice clean shower room

The tea tray was really well stocked, the room also had a fridge with bottles of water in.

We decided to have a meal at the pub a couple of minutes walk away, but they were full, when deciding what to do Babs the landlady and her husband arrived at the pub, he very kindly drove us to another pub (couldn't drive because we had been drinking wine) It was so very kind of him and greatly appreciated. Throughly recommend the Trigger Pond for a nice meal - thought it was much nicer than the nearer pub to the B&B.

Breakfast was wonderful - served in a wooden cabin. Fresh Fruit, juices, large selection of cereals, yogurts and full cooked breakfast, as much tea and coffee (fresh pots replenished during breakfast) and toast.

We will definately return when meeting for shopping trips again.

  • Liked — The wonderful owners, quiet location and comfy beds
  • Disliked — Nothing at all

Found The Old Post Office just by chance but what a gem!.Fantastic rooms, great breakfast and all the privacy you need because the rooms are set out in the garden which is lovely, ducks on the pond, what a place to wake up in.The Pub around the corner gave us a great meal. The lady who runs it, Babs, is a star.Try it we were not dissapointed and I dont think you will be.
