We absolutely loved our stay, felt very welcome by Barbara and Nigel. The unique cabins were very comfortable and warm. The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of cereals and freshly cooked full English, including the farms freshly laid eggs. we would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be returning. THANKS FOR A LOVELY STAY

Soooo sorry for not reviewing earlier, We stayed for just over a month at the OPO, (June-July 2013), and what an awesome time we had, Our heartfelt thanks to BABS, TROY AND ROB, there wasnt anything that they would do to help us out. The self contained rooms and amenities where just the best, cleaned every day, and,oh dont forget the breaky, every day, was just outstanding, choice of cooked or traditional. The location was very accessible to Bicester, and its outstanding shopping facilitys,If we required fresh eggs, they were just a two minute walk to the local farm, Beautiful, just Beautiful. The day we left (soooo sad) Sainsburys was just opening, so we missed out on that retail therapy. Would we go back, my oath, tomorrow, if we had the dosh,,,,,, $$$$$s
Thanks again Babs,Troy & Rob, we'll be back xxxx

I can only endorse the other favourable reviews. Barbara and Nigel were away but we were met by a very friendly and efficient locum (with umbrella, it was raining) who cooked a good breakfast next morning. Our room was not a chalet but in the main building with a self-catering kitchen - might be worth asking for if staying longer than overnight. Room clean, beds comfortable, everything worked (only fault a squeaky door hinge). Good pub within easy walking distance. Excellent value.

Stayed at the old postoffice with the family as we was attending a wedding in the area. Was very impressed by the cabin style rooms, as they were different to any b&b I have ever stayed at. The rooms were traditional & very comfortable with comfy beds & a tv to chill out & watch. Breakfast was very filling & suited all of us that was visiting. Also enjoyed the chickens & swing with the kids. Would happily stay again. Top marks.

My partner and I loved The Old Post Office in the charming hamlet of Ardley. Our room was well appointed and cleverly designed. Spacious grounds included a large, bright breakfast room and a summer house for reading and relaxing. Best of all, though, was our friendly and helpful hostess, Barbara, whose main priority was our comfort and enjoyment. Her delicious breakfasts were perfectly prepared, with eggs fresh from her hilarious chickens. The B&B was ideally located a short distance from Flora Thompson country, and we enjoyed seeing the locales she used in "Lark Rise to Candleford." The Cotswolds were a beautiful country drive away, and the famous Bicester designer outlet complex could be reached in ten minutes. Barbara and Troy were the consummate hosts, and we totally enjoyed our stay with them.

Room Tip: They all looked good

My daughter and I were cycling and stayed here for 1 night. The cabin room was very spacious with a nice sitting area outside. Great bathroom with very good shower. Tea and coffee facilities and fridge in room. Very well decorated and great comfy bed. We needed to leave early in the morning so breakfast was leftin the cabin for us, and it was first class. We had cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, cereal bars, orange juice tea and coffee. Great value, lovely rural location and a very friendly, helpful host. Couldn't fault or want for anything.

An excellent B&B - you get your own cabin style room. Very nicely decorated with huge bathroom and even more importantly a powerful shower. Very quiet surroundings and you even get your own outside seating area. Huge breakfast in the morning and very friendly hosts. A great place to stay and very reasonably priced. Hugely recommended.
