Description: Overall, our aim is to provide a distinctive kind of pub which attracts a broad range of customers. We aim to create the congenial atmosphere of the traditional pub combined with features found in modern cafes, restaurants and bars. We successfully achieve this through a combination of high-quality design, good management and the provision of an all-day menu and a range of quality products

The clientel in this pub really does alter acording to the time of day - morning time sees the cuppa and butty/muffin brigade made up of all age ranges. Lunchtime sees the 'ladies what do' lunching - as the day wears on the 'drinkers' start to arrive and it tends to change from a pleasant eatery/pub to the die hard boozy pub.
the food is quite good given how inexpensive it is. bacon butty and a cuppa £1.99 - can't moan at that price can you ... and it is delicious.
Most of the meals are OK.
Some of the staff are nice and some miserable.
On the whole we enjoy a visit there during the day.

The food was dreadful. I received my meal cold and undercooked. I complained and received a replacement, which, unfortunately, was just as bad. On complaining the second time, the "manager" became extremely aggressive, arrogant, belligerant and threatened me in an extremely intimidating manner, refusing to give me a refund. I am appalled and shocked at his total lack of customer service and will never be returning to this establishment, or for that matter, any other Wetherspoons.

The breakfast was realy good, and great value for money. The restaurant is very dark inside, and unfortunately due to it's cheap ale - is frequented by the town's wino's. But well worth having lunch there if in Town.

The place looks as though it needs a bit of TLC but overall it was good. Staff were friendly, food was very good, service was very quick. Excellent value.
What more do you want from a Wetherspoons.
