Stayed at this hotel for three nights. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The real hidden gem in this hotel is the restaurant. The food is the best I've tasted. The chef Darren definitely knows his stuff! All in all a real gem of a hotel, if you're heading to Mansfield you should give it a try.

Being obliged to travel in some of the worst snowstorms ever in Eastern England it was gratifying to find the Mansfield Lodge was warm, welcoming, clean, efficient, comfortable and excellent value for money. The staff were pleasant and the evening meal just what was required - even though I was late.

Stayed here overnight as a family of 4 whilst on the Robin Hood trail.
Thoroughly recommended, and good value for money. The bedroom was clean and well maintained, with a good spacious bathroom.
However the best point has to be the restaurant - very good English cooking & really good value at £10 per head for two courses. The breakfast is just as good as the evening meal.
It may only be a two star hotel, but the bits that matter are 5 stars!!.

Great stay at this hotel!! Was in a great location for the Registry Office to a wedding we were to attend. Hotel room was spacious and very clean. There was parking on site. The breakfast was really good and could not fault the best I have had in ages it was cooked to perfection.

I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if the need arose. I also believe this hotel is not to far to the town centre.

Stayed here for 5 nights over two weeks while on business in Mansfield. Absolutely recommend this hotel. First of all looks can be deceptive and on driving into the car park I thought it looked a wee bit like Fawlty Towers. HOWEVER, as I say looks can be deceptive. This family run hotel is amazing value for money. The two bedrooms I slept in were spacious and very clean. The bedlinen was crisp and clean. The Hotel was lovely and warm and cosy. I recommend you try the dinner menu at night. I have stayed in many Hotels with more stars than this but the food here is great. Home cooked but professionally cooked! The Steak Pie and the Lasagne being my favourites. I just wish there were more Hotels like this in the UK. Last but not least FREE Internet service.
