“Best steaks ever”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

The landlord really does care that you are enjoying the experience and he need not worry as the staff are excellent as is the food. I can honestly say the steak I had was one of the best I have had. A downside of my visit was the price of the drinks seemed a little expensive but as I was driving this did not affect me too much. If you decide to try this pub I strongly recommend the Dime Bar dessert for afters it is stupendous.

Stayed July 2012, traveled as a couple

I use this hotelk whenever I am near to it for business or pleasure, and a pleasure it is. The bar staff are helpfull, friendly and really care you enjoy. Keiran was the bar manager and Alan the Chef both are connected by family ties to the place and always have a happy smilling welcome for you.
The hotel rooms are in good decorative order and are comfortable and homely.

Room Tip: The back room are quieter, the steaks are locally sourced....
