The whole family loves this place. Great service food and atmosphere. Would recommend this place to anyone. Gotta get the smoked wings.

This place drives the diet conscious nuts, but you need a once a month change to remember life before dieting. This is that place.

Had lunch with friends - restaurant was not very busy and was seated right away. Hamburgers were very large, good but very messy. Onion rings were over battered and from a 'frozen bag' - not freshly made at restaurant. One of my friends got the fish & chips meal which was only 1 piece of fish and a very small portion for the price. Our waitress didn't check on us after bringing our food - had to get up to find her to get mustard and refills. She also was not friendly and didn't suggest dessert which we wanted and ordered. She seemed 'bothered' to be a work. If we go again (probably won't) will made sure to get another waitress.

On a girlfriends' weekend and stopped there while in town for our first lunch. It was great and reasonably priced (about $9 for pulled pork, two sides). Ice tea accompanying it, however, was really ovepriced at $2.60.

We liked it so much we went back the next night for dinner. Still pretty reasonably priced. Had the baby back ribs with two sides. Stuck with plain water this time to hold down the damages.

We enjoyed the amusing signs on the walls. The restaurant itself is clean, not too loud, and the service was prompt and courteous.

Would definitely return to partake of their great BBQ again.

We asked the hotel clerk for a restaurant that was a local favorite, not a chain. This place was the best she could do. (Our own ignorance played into this as we'd never heard of Smokey Bones.) The good; we were seated promptly and the service was very good, our order was correct and the timing of delivery of drinks, appetizer, and main courses was relaxed but not slow, the restaurant was clean and the level of noise was such that a conversation could be carried on at normal volume. The food; appetizer was shrimp that was over battered and tough with their version of a sweet Thai pepper dipping sauce. It was not anything special. The main courses; suffice it to say that none of the meats (ribs, brisket, pulled pork, wings) had any flavor of its own. It was necessary to put sauce on everything just to impart some flavor. The brisket was not well trimmed and sliced much too thin. The pulled pork presented well, but was flavorless. The smoked wings looked nice too, but lacked any flavor. The sauces were poor imitations of Carolina's, Kansas City, Memphis, and the fourth one was a complete mystery. MUCH too much sugar in all the sauces. Next time, we'll be clearer when we ask for restaurant recommendations from anyone.
