We had a lovely three nights at St. Aidan Hotel in Seahouses. Our room had a view up the coast toward Bamburg Castle. It was lovely to see each morning when we opened the curtains. We also could see the stars at night so clearly. This hotel is a great location for walking into Seahouses for dinner or a look around the harbor. And we were able to walk to Bamburg Castle. The breakfast was very good and our host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

This is a lovely little place in a great location overlooking the sea. We had a warm welcome from the hosts. There is a large sitting room overlooking the water, with a bar books tv great to end the day with a beer or a cuppa. Right by the little town to walk into for something to eat. The breakfast is great.! The little extras made the difference, free hot refreshments biscuits etc made us feel welcome. Who could beat waking up to sea the sea. Great location for seeing the area we visited Bamburgh castle and the Holy island.Thanks.

We stayed 3 nights for the price of 2,The room we stayed in was India it was a bit of a climb to the top floor but well worth it because of the views. The room was a good size, tea, coffee & biscutes plus chocolates on arrival. The bathroom was a good size with bath & walk in shower, big white pluffy towels & dressing gowns. The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection of fresh fruit, & a full english breakfast what more could you ask for, will recomend & will stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: India room has a lovely view over to Bambrugh castle & Farne Island.

We had booked on the off-chance for 7th September and were certainly not disappointed. Our room (Africa) was small but excellently appointed with an outstanding view across the water to the Farne Islands. Breakfast was out of this world! The best cooked breakfast we have encountered from any B & B to large hotel as well as the best buffet of all types of fresh fruit imagineable. Facilities in the lounge were comprehensive and Sue and John were the perfect hosts.
We think that, having looked at 'Scotland', the biggest room in the hotel, we shall book that next time..which hopefully will not be too long hence. Thanks so much for making our stay so wonderful. If we were nearer, we'd be there much more often! (Robin and Anne)

Room Tip: Lovely view from 'Africa' out to sea. Wonderful sized room overlooking sea and Bamburgh Cast...

Just spent 3 nights at the St Aidans B&B. I had looked at the web page and liked the idea of the Morocco theamed room so I was rather pleased when I rang and told that was the only room they had left.
We arrived and met by John who was really freindly and helpfull. Asked if we knew the area as we did he did mention some new restaurants that had opend in resent years.
The Morocco room was just great. One is the fantastic view from the window, straight over to the Fairn Island. Just beautiful. Then the bathroom. Corner bath with tealite holders. A two seater chair in the corner. King size bed, fluffy towels (changed each day) chocolates, bathrobes, hot drinks and biscuits.
Breakfast-choice of cereals, fresh fruit, juice and toast. Choice of cooked breakfast with two alternatives to the usuall. Sooooo filling. Lovely sitting room with fantastic views to Bambrough Castle (good walk across to there 3.5miles)Honestey bar that was well stocked.
Perfect place to have as a base to tour this beautiful part of uk.
Hope to return soon.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms have a sea view.
