We have just returned from Seahouses and found this hotel adjacent to the cottage. We booked for the Wednesday steak night special. The Steaks were great, some of the best we have ever had, we returned 2 more occasions to try different things on the menu, All were excellent, steak pie is massive. Very friendly & helpful staff.

My heart sank when we drove up to the Links.Outside is tired and dated, also looks like its two buildings badly thrown together.Inside you get the feeling you are in a warren/maze to get anywhere.However...........
Rooms are excellent, well appointed, comfy beds and towels.Great staff and management-nothing is too much trouble. The standard of the food is way above anything else comparable, and would severely embarrass much pricier establishment. No big secret really-they clearly buy top quality ingredients and cook them fairly simply.Wednesday night is 2 x 10oz rib eye steaks PLUS a bottle of wine for £20! At these prices they are almost paying you to eat the stuff!
In the morning we had got breakfast times wrong (though 8 til 9 is a bit sharp). We got a knock on the door asking if we wanted a cooked breakfast which was still no problem at 9.15.
Superb full english to set you up for the day.Hotel 4 out of 5 ,food 6 out of 5!
A lick of paint for the outside would do wonders, especially since many potential customers would dismiss it from the road.Id go out of my way to eat here again.

Stayed with my wife and seven year old grandson just for one night whilst visiting the Farne Islands and the Grace Darling Museum. Clean room and a good selection of food on the evening menu. Excellent breakfast. This hotel represents very good value for money with pleasant helpful staff to make your stay comfortable.

Room Tip: Room 3 incorporating an adjoining twin bedded room is great for a family with young children.

This is the best place to eat in Seahouses, I dined here a couple of times on my last visit to Seahouses the food is fantastic and well worth the money, I have to admit I have always been a bit put off by the decor (its a little outdated) but don't let that put you off. The service was good and value for money was excellent. It was busy every time we visited so I think that speaks volumes about the chef - Top tip unless you are truly starving don't order a starter and Main course - You will never finish them as I found out.

Just got back from another winter break at the Links hotel Seahouses. This time we took two of our friends along to enjoy a break with us.I must say that they where very impressed, every thing was first class from the food to the rooms. The staff really seem to go out of their way to be friendly and polite and nothing is to much trouble for them.
We all had a relaxing break and there is six of us now going back for a break on New Years Eve, so we are all really looking forward to that. we must remember not to eat and drink too much the night before to leave room for the massive breakfast that is served at your table in the morning. Well done everyone at the Links.
