A comprehensive menu with good choice at reasonable prices.

We enjoyed the quality of the food and the friendiness of the staff.

On our last night they suffered a partial power cut but still managed to serve evryone.

Well done

Four of us on holiday in Seahouses went to the Links Hotel for an evening meal. Very smart dining room. Two of us had chilli prawns which were delicious. Plenty of prawns! My husband said his medium steak was a little overdone for his taste, but he finished it and said it was OK. Our other friend ordered seafood platter with a dish of vegetables. She did not expect the platter to be of all cold fish. The vegetables did not arrive until she had nearly finished the dish, and they were cold, as they had been forgotten in the kitchen! Our waitress who was very surly, said it was not her fault that she had forgotten the vegetables, and when our friend said she did not realise the fish platter would be cold, the waitress asked her what she did expect, and she said she thought it would be hot. She tried to get some money back on the dish, especially as the vegetables were cold, but she was refused, after the waitress had supposedly gone to see the manager. A disappointing evening, not helped by a table of 13 ladies golfers who became louder as the evening went on with plenty of alcohol, and who were staying the night.

We have been to Seahouses several times now and always make sure we have at least one meal in the Links. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming and especially this year as we had our 9 month old puppy too. They couldn't do enough for us we ate in the bar area which to be fair we would normally do and the food was cooked well and served promptly. Have never managed a pudding yet as the mains are usually large. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed and friendly restaurant with no fuss even better if you have a well behaved dog too!
Don't judge a book by it's cover the decor is not fussy and outside a little dated but the food and people are great. Worth a visit!

Very helpful staff can eat either in the pub or restaurant (same menu for both but varied) excellent portions, well cooked and value for money. Like previous reviewer exterior not much to look at, this did not detract from the food

During a holiday in Seahouses, stopping self catering, we tried seral restaurants. This one was recommended to us, doesn't look great from the outside, like a 70's hotel, but I must say the food was absolutely great. The service was spot on too. My wife and myself both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. Portion size was very good, good value for money. I would recommend this place. It seems to be the place for golfers and I could hear the parties of men complimenting the waitresses on the food (again)
