“Well looked after”

They catered well for our family of 6 adults with 1 child. Although we had booked, they didn't seem to have detail of this, but luckily as we were there early they were able to accommodate us. Food was very tasty but portions weren't huge.

“Warm welcome, great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2014

We called early in the evening for a meal and chose the Indian Brasserie. Seahouses has a few places to eat in the evening; travel in any direction and eventually you will find somewhere to eat. The Indian Brasserie is a good choice if you like Indian food and we enjoyed our meal very much. I had a starter of melon served on mango puree with a measure of Cointreau poured over it - delicious! As was the rest of our meal. We did not feel rushed or hurried to finish, and it was a nice relaxing atmosphere.

“All round average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2014 via mobile

11 of us in our group. Started with poppadoms and pickles - the pickle tray portions were decidedly stingy, barely egg cup size of each of four pickles. The place was full and service was slow, some of the food had to be sent straight back when it arrived as it was cold. Aside from that the food was enjoyable and the staff were friendly and up for some banter. Not bad value for money and some out of the ordinary dishes to choose from.

Popped in for a takeaway, the staff were very pleasant and were more than happy the vary the meal to my taste.
Service was quick and well packed and remained warm till I got back home.

Overall, the takeaway was good, I chose the Onion Bhaji , Poppadoms and chicken tikka balti, worth a second visit,,

“Could be so much better”

Not a very good experience. Meat was chewy and tasteless. Needs to up their game. Obviously dependant on the 'one-off' market.
