A fantastic welcome for all whether local or from faraway. Many beers on tap, a beer drinkers delight! Their crab sandwiches are to die for, and the only thing I could dislike about this pub is that it gets too full of people who know it how is a fantastic is!!!

Very cosy, friendly and welcoming - plus a good range of drinks and food. Has a bit of a greasy fat fryer smell everywhere except the main bar.

We visited the Olde Ship whilst on a New Years break in Seahouses. The front bar is small but amazing, it is clean, warm and welcoming with loads of fishing memorabilia on the wall and ceilings....it is great and definitely worthy of a visit.
Having said this we were disappointed that dogs were not allowed through the door, this seems to contradict our experience of Northumberland where Dogs are warmly welcomed in numerous places. Also children are not allowed in the front bar, instead they are welcomed in the other less welcoming rooms that the Ship has to offer.....we felt very much like second class citizens and this definitely tarnished our experience......having said this we would return but without kids and dogs....

warm, welcoming and chock full of seafaring paraphernalia, with a great lunch and dinner menu. we were off season and it was still busy, so clearly a popular and therefore essentially bookable spot.
