Tried this site for first time as we visit Seahouses at least twice a year and we were very impressed and will definitely visit again. Great views, quiet, well kept and reasonable price. Everything we need and facilities clean. Nice 20 minute walk into Seahouses along a quiet road. Great base for visiting the area.

We had a fantastic time at Springhill farm, staying with our two dogs in an en-suite wigwam. Loved it so much we wanted to stay another night. Great facilities in the wigwam, very clean and stunning views out to sea.

Couldn't fault the pitch, plenty big enough for caravan, awning and car. Water, waste and elsan not too far from pitch. Toilets and showers kept clean, and plenty of hot water. I don't understand why there are the odd bad reviews about this site. Yes there were children there, and the Lookout and Wigwams were all occupied fully over the weekends, with people obviously there to celebrate (40th birthday in one) and yes they were partying from late afternoon until the late evening, but they kept the noise levels down and didn't disturb other campers. The only thing that annoyed me was barking dogs, and I blame the owners for that, but I didn't let it spoil my holiday.
Seahouses is only a 25minute walk away. All in all a lovey site and a lovely holiday.
Staff on site were always friendly and helpful. Its a lovely site in a lovely setting and the views are lovely.

Our second time for staying but our first time as tent campers.
Absolutely wonderful from booking to arrival with staff being so helpful.
Showers and toilets impeccably clean and I can be really fussy where cleanliness is concerned.
Washing up area always clean too.

Used drying room for our wet towels rather than having them hanging in our tent.

Walks straight away from where we were. Saw and heard lots of deer. Owls at night and dawn chorus heavenly.

This trip went and explored Holy island and was rewarded with being on an archeological dig where they had uncovered a burial of Anglo Saxon time.

Walked around Bamburgh and the castle and of course Seahouses where we found the best fresh fish shop ever with a hot kipper roll to boot to eat

The dogs loved the freedom of the beaches and we enjoyed the tranquility and felt totally rejuvenated even after just a couple of days.

We will be returning again and again as so many people seemed to do on speaking to others.

the pitch was dry even after all the rain we have had. and very spacious the site was immaculate even though there were loads of dogs on site mind they didnt empty the dog waste bins often, the facilities were good and clean and plenty of showers and loos. the site was real close to the sea and sand although its a working farm you would never think it no early morning noises lol the price was very reasonable and the electric hook up and wifi couldnt be faulted
