The perfect stay! Nice and quiet location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village, extremely peacefull. The rooms are nice, well decorated and EXTREMELY clean. In addition is served a GREAT breakfast! We strongly suggest the Ugiebrae House!

Just had four nights at Ugiebrae House. A wonderful b&b - just five minutes from the
centre of Seahouses. The house is so lovely with really beautiful bedrooms. Everything
is so clean and well looked after - nothing is too much trouble for the lovely proprieter -
Hans. The breakfast was superb. The reviews are truly deserved. We certainly would
stay here again. Hans your home is fantastic - try not to work too hard - make sure you
have a few drinks in the Ship hotel - you certainly deserve them.

We stayed for a couple of nights in room 1. Very spacious and spotlessly clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent especially the local Bamburgh banger sausages. Handily located for the seafront. Hans ia very welcoming but unobtrusive host. Deserves its 5 star reviews.

A charming B&B in a convenient location. Ugiebrae is located on the main street in town with long views over the garden and countryside from our room at the back. It's a short walk to the boats for Farne Island trips and to town for supermarkets and restaurants.

Hans-Jurgen is a convivial host and the rooms are faultlessly clean and comfortable. This place is just so relaxing and silent that all you hear on a summer's morning are the duetting Wood Pigeons! We had the attic room which was lovely but do be aware it is a bit "tight" up there and pretty easy to hit your head if you're taller. You get used to it after a while. The bathroom is equally tight and getting on and off the toilet or into the shower can be a challenge! The bed is also a smaller double, not a queen. It's all worth it though for the lovely location and quality of this place.

Hans is a great cook and breakfasts were fantastic and the coffee great. Enjoy Ugiebrae and this lovely region.

we stopped here for a week at the end of may and found a little gem and a wonderful host
our room was very clean ,comfortable and had views over the immaculate rear garden
the food was excellent and a very extensive breakfast choice which included smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or creamed mushrooms on bruschetta when we fancied a change from the normal English......the fruit salad was a work of art (not just a pile of mixed sliced fruit in a bowl)
our host Hans was extremely helpful and affable and we couldn't fault the service he gave us...he even joined in with the banter which made the stay more enjoyable
ugibrae house is only 5 minutes walk from seahouses and we found it easier to walk than try to park in the town.......there are good eateries there when you need an evening meal.
We would have no hesitation in staying here again and recommend this establishment and the wonderful host Hans......he deserves his accolades

A really friendly place to stay! The room was spotlessly clean, the breakfast perfectly cooked and the house very pleasant, but above all the host, Hans, is just a very nice person. I'm glad I found this place for 2 nights either side of a trip to see nesting birds on the Farne islands.

What a great choice this was, there was a very warm welcome awaiting us at this property not only did we discover tea and coffee in the room which is probably the norm nowadays but then to find a fridge which contained fresh cold filtered water what a lovely touch.
The room was light spotless and then to find a lovely big white roll top bath in our on suite was a surprise for me as my husband booked it and new what to expect.
Hans is very helpful nothing too much trouble and a gorgeous breakfast great choice and executed wonderfully.
I would stay here again every time well done hans.
We took a trip on the evening sunset cruise to look at the puffins and seals on serenity well done to the skipper there may have only been 12 on the trip but he made everyone of us feel special.Lovely place to visit.

Room Tip: all rooms look great
