This was an amazing find. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The owners had thought of everything that you could possibly need. The breakfast was fabulous and the evening meal was outstanding. The owners, Hans and Jean could not have been more welcoming and all for a great price.

Room Tip: Room one has a roll top bath

A foodie's heaven . . . don't be put off by the unassuming exterior of this B&B, inside you will have every little luxury you could wish for. Beautiful, clean, modern bedroom with a candle-lit slipper bath in the newly-refurbished bathroom. Fresh milk in the fridge, good bottles of wine in your bedroom to purchase and a comfy bed. But the best bit was the breakfast. Beautifully presented - I had the lightly-smoked haddock and poached eggs and home-made bread to die for. We only stayed for one night and had fish and chips overlooking the harbour with the sun setting over Banburgh Castle in the background -awesome - but now have to go back to Ugiebrae House for another visit so we can sample the dinner menu which looks delicious - can't wait! Thank you Hans and Jean.

Room Tip: We stayed in the 'king' room. Lovely room with a bath but no seaview.

Ugiebrae House is everything you could want from a B&B. The house is beautifully decorated, our room was clean and light with great views of the sea - a lovely place to stay. The breakfasts were very tasty, with a great choice of food - porridge with cream, local smoked haddock and poached eggs, soft breakfast rolls and warm croissants with jam, as well as the traditional full English. We stayed for dinner on the first night, and again were treated to the most wonderful cooking, starting with a glass of wine and bread and olives on the patio in the evening sun and finishing with a raspberry tart any patissier would be proud of and a selection of cheeses, complete with tasting notes!! Great choice of wines and very reasonably priced.

Hans and Jean are really welcoming and friendly hosts, who not only made sure we were well fed, but were really helpful in suggesting great places to visit in the area. We'd love to have stayed much longer, but we'll definitely be coming back, and we'd highly recommend this fantastic place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay on the beautiful Northumberland coast.

This is a great B&B, very clean, lovely room, we were in the room at the top, all newly decorated and very modern, it even has sea views! The breakfast was delicious, and we had one meal there, again, it was wonderful. Jean's cooking is amazing and Hans is a wonderful host with lots of local knowledge.
We had to leave earlier than we would have liked much to our disappointment. As far as Seahouses was concerned, we tried the fish and chips at Pinnacles, not impressed, meal with Jean so much better. If you want a wonderful picnic lunch, try Banburgh, the butchers there does the best Scotch Pies around according to my Husband!

Room Tip: All rooms would be good, top room is a double though, not king sized.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay with Hans & Jean. Seahouses is an excellent location for Farne Islands, Beaches & walks, so much to do in the area.
Our room was clean, spacious, well decorated & modern, with fridge containing fresh milk & goodies – what a bonus. Bed was super comfortable.
For Breakfast we were spoilt for choice, the food was so tasty & freshly cooked.
We had Dinner here each night as the other choices in Seahouses are Pubs or Fish & Chips. Again Jean’s food was wonderful, & the added bonus that the premises are licensed & Hans keeps a well stocked cellar. Prices were very reasonable & the quality was excellent.
We will be returning again to this absolute gem. Hans & Jean were so imaginative in helping us plan our days.

My wife and I stayed here en-route from Scotland.

The unassuming exterior of this house belies a travellers delight. The house is immaculately clean and is very comfortable.

We stayed in room one, which is at the front of the house and has a large, well appointed bathroom.

Jean and Hans are excellent hosts and their attention to detail shows. Their food, cooked by Jean, is simply superb and the wine is good and reasonably priced.

It is one of the best B&B's we've stayed in, if only others could be as good as this.
