This is our 3rd visit to the Malabar to see Moira & Brian who are amazing hosts. Rooms are clean modern & fresh. Very comfortable place to stay & nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is the best ever & Moira's fresh homemade cake which you'll ind in your room everyday :)
Moira & Brian know the area very well so are able to advise where to visit etc.
Once you've stayed here you'll want to go back! Sorry I clicked room service & pool by mistake!

One b+b recommended, helpful owners. I needed by under suit drying after a bad dive, they not only dried it they washed it as well. The twin room we stopped in was spacious and clean. Choice of breakfast. excellent all-rounder, best b and b in seahouses we've stayed in and will be going back. The food in the pub a few doors down same side was excellent a well.

We spent two nights at Malabar in September 2012; we enjoyed the experience so much we vowed to stay there again…and there we were for four nights in June 2013.
Everything was exquisite – the bedroom with its super lounge area for sipping evening coffee and watching the TV; the very comfortable bed; the great wet room; the homemade cake and chocolates every evening; the impeccable décor …no expense has been spared; the superb breakfasts…to die for!
We’ll be going back again.

We stayed at Malabar for one night and were really impressed. It's a lovely house, our room (2) was very spacious and extremely clean with excellent furnishings. As others have said, Moira leaves a piece of home made cake in the room which was a lovely treat. The breakfast was great, a good choice with everything cooked to perfection. The location is good, just a short stroll from the harbour There really isn't anything to find fault with, it was a very positive experience. The only negative aspect to our break was the evening meal we'd booked at a local restaurant which wasn't too good.

Room Tip: Our room (2) was lovely. We also saw the ground floor room which was even bigger with a sitting are...

We stayed here in May for a couple of nights because we wanted to visit the Farne Islands. The accommodation was excellent. Very welcoming people. We loved the clean, spacious room with all the amenities you could wish for. The shower room was amazing with the under floor heating which made having a shower more enjoyable than ever. Didn't feel cold when the shower was over and getting dry. We enjoyed the different cakes left each day. What a variety. The breakfast was first class. Everything you could want. We wanted a vegetarian option and we had plenty of choice. The service was second to none.We even took a lovely packed lunch which was great value for money on our boat trip. We even requested one for our journey home. The wifi was good for us too. Wanted to go again but the room wasn't available this month so went to another B&B. This one was okay but nowhere near as nice as Malabar. We still had a great time but missed the warm shower room and great breakfast. We hope to stay again one day.

Room Tip: Check out the ratings before you decide to go and make sure you check breakfast is included in price...

This was one of the best hotel/b&b's I've ever stayed in, over the years I've stayed in plenty of accommodation while away from home, this is definitly one of the best, the welcome was fantastic, the room was everything expected and more. The breakfast was as good as I've ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were also very knowledgable about local attractions and eating places. I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to for the Malabar.
