Great B&B, Cannot fault it ,Very quite great breakfast free range eggs on site and if you are into horses this is the place for you, also very close to golf course.we were in bedromm No2 a family room 1 great large double and 2 singles in the room, very good shower and a nice bath.I would recommend this B&B to anyone.
I would give the B&B 10 out of 10 but foe one small point there was no cloths hangers for trousers in the room so it's 9.9 out of 10.
We will be back it is first class it would bwe hard to beat.

Room Tip: Room No2 has a view of the field and a distant sea view but it is a very good room

This is a first class bed and breakfast in one of the nicest locations. We stayed in the Bamburgh room and looked out over fields - in the distance we could see Dunstanburgh Castle! When we arrived we were greeted by Ian, who was very friendly and knew a lot about the local area (very handy!) we popped our stuff in our room and spent a while in the lounge area using the free Wi-Fi that was provided (the internet speed was good). The lounge was a great size and had a lot of entertainment options, including a pool table!! In the morning, we had a lovely cooked breakfast, the eggs were amazing! We would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely be staying again!! Thanks Springwood for a great stay!

Room Tip: Stay in the Bamburgh room, it was a great size with lovely views and the bathroom had a very good sh...

My husband and I stayed at Springwood for one night with our 2 children. Aged 3 and 5. Our room was lovely, we had a king size bed with memory foam mattress (very comfy) and our children had a single bed each, which was ideal. My son loved the pool table in the lounge area! Breakfast was yummy. We would definitely stay at Springwood again.

A warm and friendly welcome. We stayed in a room with a balcony and terrific views over the countryside. Walking distance to the centre of Seahouses with its pubs, restaurants etc. A great breakfast with a choice including locally smoked haddock with poached eggs or kipper fishcakes - a great change from bacon and eggs. Five minutes drive to Bamburgh Castle and its glorious beach.

Very well presented b&b, set back from the road in a quiet back street. We were met by Ian when we arrived, a very happy hospitable chap with lots of local knowledge, We had the Dunstanburgh room 2 it was a spacious modern room with a well appointed bathroom, the room had a king-size bed with quality mattress and two single beds, obviously used as a family room at times. We had plenty of tea and coffee etc and a mini fridge with a jug of fresh milk in it.
The views from the bedroom were lovely across a paddock and many fields with the sea in the background. There is also a recreation room with a 6' snooker table in it.
Breakfast was really nice, all fresh produce and well cooked.
The town centre is a good 10 minute walk away down local streets.
If I had to say anything negative it would be that we weren't able to check in until after 4pm ( a little late) and breakfast was served 8:30 - 9:00, a tad early on a Sunday morning when most people like a little longer in bed. Maybe this changes in the high season, but if you don't lie in it wont be a problem for you.

Room Tip: This was built as a b&b not as a second thought, we had a very pleasant stay, thankyou.

We originally booked the dog friendly room at Springwood for the summertime but unfortunately were unable to go, as it was after the cancelation time I accepted that we had lost or money. When we contacted the owners they were understanding and told us we could use it at another booking should we be able to visit Seahouses sometime in the future.
We decided to spend New Year up at Seahouses and contacted Springwood who had availability.
We arrived late and were met by the owner and shown to our room, not expecting a great deal from a dog friendly room we were blown away at how beautiful it was. The room is located away from the main house and next to the stables overlooking a field. No noise is heard from any of the horses. The room is spotless with a huge bed and mattress heater, flat screen tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, tea coffee and sweeties provided. Room is finished tastefully. The bathroom is in the form of a wet room, shower is red hot all day, only thing I would recommend is to take some flip flops for here as the floor was freezing when the shower is off, the rest of the room is warm.
The breakfast was plentiful offering everything you could wish for. Poached eggs were just right for a hangover.
The place is easy to find, 2 min walk to Seafield and only about 5mins from start of the front street.
Lovely place, lovely people, STAY HERE!!!
Thank you for our great stay.
Neil & Gemma.
