St Cuthbert's is a very special place, very welcoming well kitted out and with good attention to detail. The breakfast was superb and the beds incredibly co.mfortable. Jeff and Jill are perfectionists and it shows. we will come again

St Cuthbert's is an amazing place, the rooms, food and ambiance are wonderful but Jeff & Jill the owners make it great. They go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is special and you feel that you are their only guest. Can't wait to return not only to St Cuthbert's but to the amazing Northumbrian countryside.

St. Cuthbert's is difficult to describe in order to do it justice. Our three night stay was truly memorable [surprise break for my husband] and we left feeling restored and rested. The warm welcome and hospitality we received was wonderful not to mention the delicious food and the beautiful bedroom furnished with comfortable and top quality linens, toiletries and towels.have not stopped talking about it !

St Cuthbert's is not a B&B. It's a small 5 star astablishment run by a dedicated husband and wife team who have created an immaculate and unique experience in a beautiful setting. The rooms are impeccably equipped and presented with style, comfort and attention to detail and the breakfast is personally prepared and delicious. Located a short walk from Seahouses harbour and small town centre St Cuthbert's is a perfect location to explore the region ,made easier by the expert local knowledge and warm welcome from the hosts. Top quality !

We chose this place because it had rave reviews and it is located perfectly for exploring this part of Northumberland (and what a beautiful area it is)

To save time writing a long review here is a list of the faults we found with St Cuthbert's House....

Book it :o)

We could not have chosen better accommodation for our first visit to the North East. We were recommended to stay at St Cuthbert's by our daughter and son-in-law, they obviously have very good taste. We could not fault the warm welcome, bright airy comfortable room, healthy breakfast and most important in my husband's case, the wonderful selection of beers and drinks on offer. Jeff and Jill made us extremely welcome from the moment we arrived until our departure. Everyone is made to feel very special and Jeff is always on hand at breakfast to give any advice on places to visit that he thinks may be of interest to you. The aura and ambience of the converted chapel is stunning and nothing has been lost in the conversion to this 5* b and b. I would recommend a stay here to anyone without hesitation and hope to return sometime in the future when we need another break from grandchildren, dogs and aged aunts etc.

Enjoyed a three night stay in very comfortable accommodation in a chapel which has been lovingly restored/modernised whilst retaining a number of original features. Jill and Jeff are excellent hosts and made us feel very much at home. Breakfast was a treat all locally sourced and beautifully presented. Highly recommended and hope to visit again in 2014.
