Top quality bed and linen. Superb bathroom with quality fittings. Fantastic views from the top room. A lounge area in this particular room was blissful at the end of a busy day with uninterrupted views over hills and fields yet minutes from the A1. A rural and quiet stay yet easily back on the A1 for going up to Alnwick. Delicious breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere. Ricky was genuine and welcoming with nothing too much trouble. Our little heavenly retreat! Thank you.

Room Tip: Talk to Ricky the host.

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding at Eshott Hall.

The owner let us check in early and leave our bags so we could get to the wedding. The room was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and cooked to order and didn't feel at all greasy. The owner was also very helpful and knowledgable on the local area.

Overall very accommodating, flexible, clean, well equipped and superb value for money

If you're going to a wedding at Eshott Hall, this is the place to stay.

My niece and I had an excellent stay at this cottage. Everything was perfect, good food, spotllessly clean and very tastefully furnished and very friendly host, Ricky. We feel, having travelled wide and far, the best accommodation we've stayed at and will definitely return. We hightly recommend this bed and breakfast. Margery and Marian

Lucky find! Close to lots of Northumberland's attractions. Good pub grub just down road. Just off A1 but in quiet countryside. Everything you could want in a B & B. It is worth 5 stars. Lovely owner, Ricky. Nothing too much trouble. Anything you need - just ask!

Room Tip: All rooms high standard. 2 ground floor rooms for less able.

I stayed for the 4 nights last week as i was working not too far away and i can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable weeks i have had. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, the bed was very comfy and there was a large selection of tea's and hot drinks. The owner is a nice chatty guy who makes you feel welcome.
Due to my early starts with work i decided to stick with cereal for breakfast as it would be unfair to ask for something hot at that time in the morning but i am sure the cooked breakfast is very nice due to reading other reviews here. The breakfast area is in a nice bright conservatory with a great view of the lovely garden.
There is also free wi-fi which was a great help to me as i had left my dongle at home.
I would certainly stay again!!
