Nice shops, the chocolate shop and tea room are well worth a visit. The security guards in old fashioned uniforms are a nice touch.

I recently visited Sanderson Arcade for the first time and i must say it was a wonderful shopping experience! The range and quality of shops they have is fantastic! It's great to have the big shops like M&S and Laura Ashley however i thought that the new Edwardian Tea Room was out of this world and the food was delicious! A visit over Christmas is a must for me!!

This is a lovely shopping centre -it's well-presented, clean, not too big like the Metro Centre and has high quality shops such as Laura Ashley, Hobbs, M&S and Paperchase. It has a very similar look and feel to that of Leeds' Victorian quarter. The security men wear top hats and tails and look very smart! We spent an afternoon here then had dinner at Barluga, which is a modern and funky bar/restaurant -the food was exceptional. The best thing about this shopping centre, as well as Morpeth in general are the flower displays which were gorgeous. Will certainly be returning!
