visit here alot as we dont live that far away. it is a nice coffee shop and always very popular. the coffee i think is not as good as it used to be and on two occasions i have had to send it back as it either was not strong enough or hot enough. the food always looks nice and a varied selection but expensive and sometimes is delivered to you at different times to the people you are sitting with. feel some of the staff are not really that committed to their job and it is just a stepping stone for them? it is though a nice place to relax and there is free wifi.

Ever since Central Bean opened it has provided some real competition for the other coffee shops in Morpeth. I like it because the coffee has always been stronger and more flavoursome than e.g. Costa Coffee ( it is interesting that I note Costa has subsequently raised it's standards since Central Bean arrived and they have made their coffee stronger too and now do flat white which they didn;t do at first). Only reason we sometimes go to Costa is because my son likes the cheese and ham toastie they do - which is tasty and good value ( come on Central Bean - you could easily do this !).

Lookd great, very confirtable and does everything Starbucks and Costa do, only half as well. Staff were all complaining of being hungover when my husband and I visited as if that excused their poor service. I'm sure the competition is losing no sleep.

This is another welcome addition to Morpeth. The coffee is good and the place is very relaxed. Food is average sandwich/cakes etc. Free wifi is a real bonus.

Visited the Central Bean on a number of occasions and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful and the coffee is lovely. Only ever had a latte to drink or previous visit to last conisted of a mango smothie which was delicious. Never eaten there but like the atmosphere and the setting, if you're passing by, it's much nicer than Costa or Starbucks and around £2 so similarly priced!
