Stayed here as a family of four in the Caribou Lodge. Lovely new, fresh accommodation and catered for all our needs. Absolutely tremendous location for exploring Northumberland. The park was very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I have just literally come back from staying here for the weekend. I cannot fault the place. Gorgeous cabin right by the lake and super dog friendly too, which my two were very happy about! Wendy came to say hi as soon as we arrived on Friday and made us feel really welcome. We booked a hot tub for 3 days too, and Rob 'The Hot Tub Man' was a right character! The cabin was lovely and clean with everything we needed, though as it was my birthday weekend, I didn't actually cook... We are most certainly going to be making a return trip. Thank you for a super weekend guys! Phoebe, Chris, Marley and Arthur x

We booked to go here on a hen weekend for 8 people in hadrians lodge, when we arrived we were welcomed by lovely staff and shown to the log cabin, it was amazing, done out to a high standard and right on the lake which was worth paying a little more for. We hired the hot tub for our 2nd night which was amazing. We are already planning our return. Thanks for a great stay

We visited Felmoor Park for my sons 13th Birthday , so a family of three, plus one very handsome cocker spaniel . I pass this place all the time and didn't even know it was there hence the title of this review. I spoke to Wendy before hand and asked if it was possible to put a few banners and balloons up for our arrival and she did not disappoint . The lodge was on the lake and lovely positioned to see most of the lake and greenery. The lodges are not huge but are adequately equipped and extremely comfortable. The site is a combination of private owners and rental statics and lodges .The owners that we came across were on the site were very friendly and very informative about places to visit and eat . The location is great for visiting Northumberland and I would definitely recommend getting out and about . The site has a onsite pub with pool table and the prices are very reasonable. This seems to be the place the owners get together but we were made to feel very welcome (thank you for the radishes)
Overall we had a fantastic weekend, and we definitely be returning .

We have just returned from a well earned 3 night stay in this fantastic little beauty of a place. It was a surprise for my boyfriend's 30th Birthday and I have to say he wasn't disappointed at all! Fabulous, well kept. modern log cabins ideally situated right next to the A1 - don't think this is a bad thing i.e traffic, as you cant hear a thing! We took our large Rhodesian Ridgeback dog for the adventure as well and to my surprise at no extra cost - marvellous! Plenty of doggie bins around the park too (this is always a pet peeve for me - no doggie bins anywhere!) Loads of things to do, we visited Bamburgh Beach for the day which again is dog friendly, it has to be the best beach I've ever been to - stunning! Amble beach is also close by - we're suckers for the seasides! As for the Cabins themselves though, perfectly proportioned, there is everything you will need, from pots and pans to a tin opener! You can tell the whole site is well maintained and cared for, everyday there were people either cutting the lawns or planting bedding flowers. It's a perfect getaway and just what we needed, we will definitely be returning for a week next time and hopefully very soon!!

My family of four plus German Shepherd stayed in cabin 14 for the half term week in May. Our kids (7 and 9) loved playing out at night before bed. The park isnt particularly big, is quiet, well maintained, and ideally located on the A1.
I wasnt sure of what to expect from a cabin but was pleasantly surprised with the quality, fixtures, and fittings. The cabin has central heating and is super insulated so very cosy on cold evenings.
Cabin 14 overlooks the lake (aka large pond) which has a convenient path running around it with odd dog waste bin; ideal for quick start and end of day walkies.
We visited Alnwick Castle, Cragside, Beadnell several times (amazing sandy beach), Holy Island, Kielder, Hardians Wall (recommend Chesters and Housesteads), Bamburgh Castle, and Beamish on the way back home. All great tourist destinations; we'll definitely return in a few years.

This is a fairly new site still under construction.
It is so central to Northumberland just off the A1.
We stayed in a Lakeside Lodge which was lovely but a little cramped for 6 of us and only one bathroom/toilet.
Well equipped and clean but a little on top of each other.
The thing that was great for us was that we could take our dog free of charge!! Very rare to be free. There is a lack of dog bins though and maybe there should be a "dogs on lead" rule around the pond as we saw one dog run in and chase the ducks and another dog ran up to a lodge where a dog was on a balcony, which of course caused a little scrap! Not everyone likes dogs so to be fairer on other guests staying without one, I really do think it wouldn't be a major issue for dogs to be on leads around the park.
There are some lovely little walks around the park, not very long but pleasant and quite interesting at mo as we believe the site is being built on an old airforce base and there are still some old buildings dotted around.
We booked through Hoseasons however I believe it may have been a little cheaper to have booked direct and more choice of accomodation.
They are building a small wave pool and steam room/sauna to be opened in June. There is a small bar and pool table in Reception. I believe by talking with other people on site, you can hire Hot Tubs by the day?
A very enjoyable weekend had by us all and we will be back due to its location and the feel of the place. If you want a holiday camp... Don't go, if you want small secluded Central Park that allows dogs.... It maybe for you.
